QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Feb 16 2015, 06:35 PM) my build also (lol pre GST) quite slow (pending for like half a year or so) mainly due to lack of funds well i think before gst hit everyone already kena on the exchange rate. Heck thailand/sg now everything 10-15 percent more expensive due to exchange rate. This post has been edited by cstkl1: Feb 16 2015, 06:38 PM |

QUOTE(Lucassss @ Mar 8 2015, 08:53 PM) 2 drops of Mayhem's into 1.5L of water. 7 months and still going. hmmm..distilled water+ nothing = 3 month maintenance You'll start to see your reservoir turning yellow at 2-3 months. By then it's already too late even if you change the water. distilled water+ biocide = 4 month maintenance 7 months and still going without a water change. distilled water+ silver coil = ? month maintenance My experience with silver plug was about 6-8 months. The silver plug was covered with some algae or whatever, rendering it useless. This post has been edited by cstkl1: Mar 8 2015, 10:19 PM |

Not sure about that bro. Been using shell battery water for quite some time n nvr had yellowish/gunk Although i normally do a 2 full bleeds, check blocks, pump, 2 more bleed when i first install. Arghh that time if the year again n worse for some unknown reason my cpu block stands ine was dislodged from the backplate. Did a temp fix but temps were 15c difference on load only. Suspect clp issue. So just resitting n reapplyinh clp. 6 hrs of my life gone. Lol. |

QUOTE(0nEPiECe @ Mar 9 2015, 10:29 PM) No main rig is now 4 months but i changed the water just now because of the cpu issue. CLP lol dont move the block even a little for delid.Always got some reason within a year to bleed. So never reach 1 year. Change GC, CPU, etc.. Maintenance of the WC in my opinion is to make sure the block flow path are not hindered. So Just did the check just now by removing all blocks, cleaning each one etc. Another thing to note WC rigs . Try not to use ceiling fan in the room. Aircond or stand/table fan. Here is a pic after four months 24/7 use before cleaning and resetting the cpu block. ( BTW i know i need to change those two sata cables.. but to find a 90-120cm sleeved cables.. hmm will take some time.. so until i order more stuff will put that in want list) demciflex and that no ceiling fan rule. keeps dust away. Rads had demciflex filters This post has been edited by cstkl1: Mar 9 2015, 11:11 PM |

QUOTE(0nEPiECe @ Mar 9 2015, 11:37 PM) aircond guy explain to me lol..he said ceiling fan creates a vortex around the room that attracts new dust everytime you open the door/window hence y they always said dont use aircond with ceiling fan. same with wc. filters will clean off existing dust. hence y u see mine so clean still. baby wipe 5 minutes all done. rad no dust. QUOTE(Lucassss @ Mar 10 2015, 12:41 AM) Well it could be due to several factors. dont think anyone can say 100% sure of anything in wc.1. I didn't clean my loop properly and I do admit that I'm not as tedious as I'd like to be. 2. I'm running a LED strip in my loop behind the reservoir which could also contribute the algae growth. We're just stating our personal experiences, yours definitely seems a lot better than mine but I've had successful results with biocide and since it's not that expensive, I'll stick with it. one thing i dread everytime. Lifting the damn thing. TJ11 was not meant to be hold. Pretty sure 900D is the same. This post has been edited by cstkl1: Mar 10 2015, 01:00 AM |

QUOTE(0nEPiECe @ Mar 11 2015, 10:38 PM) Why 3/8" 5/8" bro? exactly hence goFrom the tenet, most of them said just go for tube you like.. tube size make no different 3/8 5/8 easier to route etc especially a mid case. Rarely you will need angle fittings etc. late you see how thick that hose is and its creating unnecessary pressure on fittings when you bend it and sambung. rarely u see ppl using 1/2 3/4 nowadays. Last time it was a thing for cpu block to have " high flow design " for it. Myth. This post has been edited by cstkl1: Mar 11 2015, 10:43 PM |

QUOTE(Lucassss @ Mar 12 2015, 01:14 PM) If you know where to look, there's Barrow fittings. Dunno how many times so call expensive bitpower fittings had leaks. Angle fittings n orings always need to double test it. They're apparently OEM of Bitspower but much cheaper. Just don't blame me when they leak. Got nearly 2-3k worth of bits fittings . It was that experience that led me to a sabatical from wc. Suprisingly smooth sailing with monsoon so far This post has been edited by cstkl1: Mar 12 2015, 05:02 PM |
