perhaps it's an o-ring problem? cross screw and tighten slowly and see if that helps?

sometimes if you tighten the screws the first time and move in a circular pattern the oring gets messed up.
*
Cross screw 14 screws. Lol. Not so easy bro. Trust me.

Hmm hafdin revealation on the leak issue.. Kindda took mr back

because i saw a watercooling video on youtube, the person said don't screw until it really tight, let the o-ring do its job.. so what is your opinion?
*
Thats what i normally do at it flooded my case.
Tighten it. It was less. Checked oring position all ok
Just called ek. Cant wait for their rma so just ordered 4 orings n a whole new set of screws just incase. Burn rm170 for this. 3 days to reach.

Link for the video??

ouch.. there goes mr money.....

i forgot the link.. it was long ago before i started on watercooling.. i watch a watercooling guide...

Afaik those are thr old revisions. Slightly bigger than the ones we are using.

Yeah but no choice unless i want to wait for rma.

Thinking now how to put the 280 in. Few risky ideas popped up.

success.
gtx280 and gtx560 nemesis at the bottom of tj11 with drain port etc ..

if u guys dont know ... there not many ppl manage to do it with a 54mm rad at the bottom.
did it without sacrificing any tube management or cable management.

took a lot of planning and had to do like a 20 step plan to make it work and did it without removing the midplate or modding the casing

just waiting for
1. ek replacement stuff to arrive tommorow for mobo screws and d5 dual top oring
2. need to cut the top a bit for fillport
3. test leak
4. test hardware and pray all working
5. full pic etc..
6. delid. the hardest thing here will be removing that two 90 adapter with tube from cpu block to mobo
7. looking at doing a lightbox and polishing the acrylic glass and doing mirror tint on it.

Oc bro. My idea of wc is to gain performance with looks n less noise.

Few things i found out on flaws of wc for haswell on single loop.

Cant really find any place to put the pump nicely at the top hmm.gif
Maybe i will think in the next maintenance, right now cant carry the case up & down anymore, it is seriously heavy sweat.gif
*
I meant use the out port on the side of the pump block like how a normal d5 is and not the face of the block,

There is a difference in flowrate.

Sorry when i meant case before was not refering to the casing but to your pump port choice

TQ bro. The loop is around 6k, most of the cost is due to the gpu waterblocks haha...\

I used to drive 2 of the displays using my Nvidia 660m and yea you are right a lot of funny stuff goes on with green team gpu when using MST.
The display sometimes refuse to wake up from sleep and have to power cycle them before they recognize the input.
Happy to say with AMD I don't get any of those problems  biggrin.gif
*
why all the delays??

btw thats not bad cost. mine was at 7.4k for transition from air to water on my tj11.

ure rig needs those backplates...

mine almost complete. just doing some cable stuff atm.

I think i may have improved the noise a bit. I removed the black hose inside reservoir ( thought it'll remove cyclones effect), and fill the reservoir as full as i can. Noise level seems acceptable now.
*
if can try to that sponge anti cylone thing that ek uses. its superb.

Don't where to get that, but i'll try DIY something similar out of hardware shop.

And one more thing, the water is a bit foamy, lots of air bubles too. I'm using distilled water without any additive or dye.
*
normal because of the air it looks like that but did you clean ure tubes and rad etc..

i normally will fill up 2 times and dump the water and only final 3rd time is what i keep. I just use shell battery water.

worked for me last time and still.

Yeah.. i totally forgot to flush the tubes and rads. Only pumps and blocks since it is used items.  Maybe need to do same drain and refill. The pump flow is just too high, its shooting water in the small reservoir.
*
mine is a tornado. lol..
literally the word "cyclone" doesnt justify it.

that ek sponge thingy was better than the ek anti clyone separator thingy.

this?

sadly i'm getting my new pc December so i won't make it for the Titan II sad.gif
*
its that 4gb its not enough for 1440p. seriously...
i wonder how ppl are gaming at higher res even with titan.
all the new games with ultra texture all hits higher than 4 and closer to 5.

as for a 8gb gtx980. I still think is another titan black saga.

Everybody thought 780ti was going to get 6gb and then came out titan black.

So i think same thing is gonna happen.
Its most probably the 1080 with 6gb and titan black with 12gb based on nvidia past that the higher end is 384/512bit card.

They could have launched the 980 with 8gb as they did with the mobile division but they didnt bother.
... really is the mem controller that complicated on higher density. Dont see as vram price issue as ddr3 chips are cheap.
If it is then its a pll issue between the core and mem speed with the desktop core clocking so high
