Just did some tweaking, still can't go pass 410FSB, the ram limiting me for sure, can't take more than 0.2vdimm, tried adding VFSB VMch all the same, can't go pass 410 while maintaining stability. 430 can boot though, but not stable enough to load window

QUOTE(mikelanding @ Oct 28 2006, 01:55 PM) not yet...want to re offer me? Lazy to try again, very damn sure it's ram problem, cpu can do with low voltage but ram cannot accept +0.3vdimm Anyway, mine power chip is good till 900Mhz +- 10 Mhz (didnt really stress them). I tried change multiplier from X8 to X7 and FSB up to 450...surprisingly can boot and manage to complete super pi 1M test...but result only slightly better than DDR820. I run the above setting after reading this thread OC Secret. Maybe U guys should give it a try... Maybe U can change multiplier to X6 and bump up yr FSB...see how far U can push yr ram... BTW, did u burn in yr ram? If not, try use memtest86+ and let it run overnight....might help a little bit... |

QUOTE(siauann @ Oct 28 2006, 02:18 PM) perhaps lowering vdimm? 12hours orthos definitely defined as rock stable in my view btw how need to run orthos to really show stability??? so far my 430x7 had run for 12hr++ ![]() This post has been edited by Bliz: Oct 28 2006, 02:46 PM |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Oct 29 2006, 07:10 PM) yo, is tforce 965pt overclock capability same like tforce 965 deluxe? Looking for a value/performance board. That one i have no idea but it's better for u to stick with what's proven to be the better ones like the Gigabyte-DS3 or Biostar-TForce965 deluxeThis post has been edited by Bliz: Oct 29 2006, 09:59 PM |

QUOTE(tAmp0i @ Oct 30 2006, 09:48 PM) Need that much voltage to do DDR 800? Loosen the timing and go higher lar, since the memory timings won't affect much compare to memory speed This post has been edited by Bliz: Oct 30 2006, 09:54 PM |
