0.5 mm here  wub.gif  wub.gif  0.3 mm looks pretty but it's more difficult to get the leads at my place. 0.7 mm and 0.5 mm can always 'pinjam' fren punya lead. Sure have.
*
0.3 to fragile
0.5 to main stream
0.7 more hipster

at certain time 0.7 widely available and same price with 0.5 and nobody going to pinjam your lead since tak muat nak cucuk laugh.gif

p/s: last time I also got 0.9, to draw a line in mahjong paper/kotak/kadbod really nice but normal usage not so practical since too bold

PENAC SC0601

reliable as f***, served me since 2006 till now.

EDIT: oh that's retractable, so definitely not your cup of tea..

the best non-retractable i have now is the Rotring Tikky, used to play around with technical dwgs when i fell in love with them.

Looks funky smile.gif Did you experience any wobbling at all whatsoever? (sorry I'm abit particular on this aspect)

u mean the Penac? yeah, it wobbles a bit. inherent trait of a retractable i guess..

btw i saw quite a bit of love for rotring here.

Pilot Shaker... all time fav. Oldfag ere..

Now using Mitsubishi @ Uni 4-in-1 Jetstream.
*
Yea, shaker is old school, I had it for a time but I forgot what happened to it, later bought its cheaper imitations but they never had the feel I remembered of the original.
Btw, not a real big fan of 2in1/3in1/4in1..they somewhat struck me as those free pens your insurance company will give you..though it's just me..prefer a separate pencil. They seem pricey on jetpens btw shocking.gif

I still have a mechanical pencil made mostly of PLASTIC since form 1, i think.
But the pencil is still in good working condition.
The only concern is the lead quality used.
*
well yeah, aluminum may not offer much practical use over plastic but it still adds an air of elegance to the pencil smile.gif
will stick to the 'standard quality' 2B lead common in stationery shops for now.
