Want to ask, is it possible to engrave my name on Rotring 600?
If so, where can I do it and roughly will cost how much? Couldn't wait to get my hands on it.. |

QUOTE(jchong @ Mar 5 2015, 10:52 PM) Find the pen counter in most major department stores and they can do engraving. No idea how much it costs though. Will the brass rust? If it stays shiny then I wouldn't mind..However, engraving the 600 might be tricky due to its hexagonal barrel. Secondly, not sure how it will look since the engraving will eat through the black color and expose the brass underneath. Those engraving are done by hand or machine?? QUOTE(Clea @ Mar 6 2015, 12:23 AM) Maybe If you make it in the same size and font as the words already on the barrel and then paint it red it will look alright What paint should I used to paint it red? Also put your engraving on the exact opposite side of the rotring word. |

Are there any good 3/2 in 1 pencil + pens out there? As slim as possible.
Budget around RM100 only, since I'm frequent user of Black pen and mechanical pencil, it's quite inconvenient now for me as I need to have 2 pens in my pocket. 2 in 1 pencil I meant is Black pen + Mechanical Pencil only.. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Apr 8 2015, 05:25 PM) Mostly can be brought below RM100. Just shop in those shopping bookstore. Or a higher class shopping tenant like Parkson and metro. What about those higher quality one?? I don't mind the pen but I just want the mechanical pencil to be good. After switching from cheapo Pilot Rexgrip 0.5 to rotring 600 0.5, the feeling when writing is just, indescribable.. |

Seems like rotring 600 couldnt handle stress very well..put in my pants pocket. see the condition now.
Should i buy another mechanical pencil, buy the replacement tip or just leave it as it is? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

That's for the advice guys.
The clip is totally my fault as I scratched it quite hard on the wall, any paint would've come off with that kind of scratch. I'm just curious with the tip part, it's clipped in my pocket, and the only thing i have in my pocket is a pendrive, which is not there most of the time, and the casing is plastic. |

QUOTE(-kytz- @ Nov 10 2015, 10:35 PM) The standard Kuru Toga can be found at any stationery shop? (MPH,Popular,Kino) After my rotring 600 died, i bought kuru toga roulette from taobao. Didnt like it as the tip feels slightly wobbly and very lightAnd also, where can I get the Kuru Toga high grade edition or Kuru Toga Roulette. Price? QUOTE(jchong @ Nov 11 2015, 03:28 PM) The paint got scratched badly, most probably due to abrasion in my pocket.. Didnt die until i accidentally dropped in on the floor tip first, tip got bent, pushed it back and now the tip feels wobbly..now using the graphgear 1000 and loving the ability to retract the tip back |
