I had this baby for a very short while (1~2 weeks?) before I lost it!  vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

Now I'm looking for another mech pencil to replace my beloved..Internut recommends the graphgear 1k, which is basically the higher kelas version of the pencil I lost. It gets mostly good reviews, except for one thing I don't like, retractable sleeve ( i THINK retractable will make the pencil wobbly after much usage, but no complaints from actual owners so far). I prefer to avoid the issue  altogether and get a fixed sleeve anyhow. Any recommendations?
This blog provides some good reviews on some pencils around, but sadly I don't see any of those at my local book store. Most of them suffer from wobbliness anyway which is a major nono for me. My criteria on a good mech pencil are:

1. Absolutely no wobbling
2. Non-retractable
3. Non-rubber grip
4. Metal body
5. Minimalistic, no unnessesary hanky panky ( eg. marble body / gold plating / engraved picasso's signature etc)

So anyway I'm still looking for the best bang for under rm50 WHICH is available to buy in Malaysia ( not limited edition/ vintage/ ultra rare) Post your awesome pencils here!

totally agreed on Faber Castell RX... but i broke the ball bearing several times, causing the ink to leak. so the lesson here is, don't drop it
p.s : the pen is cheap anyway, just buy a new one  tongue.gif

What clutch pencils you have? I thought they are uncommon these days. But then again I never did really look for it. Got no drawing skills tongue.gif

Interesting to know~ I like chunky, solid pencils  nod.gif
Good taste you have there sir  thumbup.gif
I kinda switch back and forth between the two,
0.5 mm when I want to 'borrow' pencil lead from a friend,
0.7 mm when I don't intend to 'lend' pencil leads to anyone lol.
That being said, I noticed that 0.3 mm pencils are usually significantly more expensive, I wonder if they use a different, more complicated mechanism  hmm.gif

i am mostly on 2mm clutch pencil faber castell and 0.7mm for technical drawing last time.

cannot stand 0.5 cos breakage too frequent with my style sweat.gif
