vandetta, even in the USA... Apple hardly ever has promotions... the only way to get discounts there is to buy from Amazon, or through your university smile.gif

me 2.. hope my mac mini can support. Hope Intel will release merom so that i can get it upgrade.. haihz

is Apple will drop the price when Core 2 Duo out? cos Leopard will be supporting 64bit app. that mean core duo now cannot support..

that's a very far future..... i don't think your mini will survive that long.... unless you have good reasons as to why your apps need to address memory beyond 4GB.... sweat.gif sweat.gif

Apple always take a good care of existing user base that doesnt want to upgrade.
which allow them able to use latest OS maybe 3-4years down the road?
my 9yr old PM G3 still run 10.4.7

Guys, the MacBook is RM 1K cheaper if with student discounts in the US smile.gif well, this part of the world...tough we pay more, think it's good in a way as we are supporting our local MAC stores, without them, we can't get any service and so on.
