QUOTE(HoNeYdEwBoY @ Jun 1 2014, 01:05 AM) I saw this. 016 Lai poison him hehe. Also, I got warped space bar for my space bar. If warped DSA from SP can exchange? Lol QUOTE(yukihatsu @ Jun 1 2014, 12:07 AM) http://imgur.com/a/pILTD Same issue here. I think this issue exists for costar stabs users only? Cherry stab users didn't have much problem with it being loose. Gua. I used double sided tape instead.HEHEHEHE. My first picture(s) of the day feat. DSA Dolch. As expected, like some forum members here I had issues with the spacebar, return, shift and backspace keys (keys with extra 2 white plastic sockets) being too loose to fit properly into the DSA Dolch keycaps. This resulted in the keys being very unresponsive and it only clicks when you press it directly in the middle where the cherry mx stems are. It didn't bounce back as well at times. But all is solved when I inserted some PTFE tape into the sockets. The keys feel super awesome now. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by zennasyndroxx: Jun 1 2014, 05:35 AM |

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Jun 1 2014, 12:56 AM) Hi Legend, Hi can you spoonfeed me for this info?>I'm convincing my friend to get a filco TKL instead of Corsair K70 but I can't find any good reason. Do you like spoonfeed? If you like, we can provide a little info for this corsair K70. If you don't like to be spoonfeed then you can search this thread or previous thread about this K70. (This post do not gain any post count. First of all, is the corsair 100% mod-able for its key caps? Secondly, How is the build quality as compared to the Filco? I know Filco is the best, but how do I describe it? I just can't tell my friend : Filco is da best, get Filco. Lastly, huh? no more post count? |

As you wish, Legend.First of all, is the corsair 100% mod-able for its key caps? Secondly, How is the build quality as compared to the Filco? I know Filco is the best, but how do I describe it? I just can't tell my friend : Filco is da best, get Filco. Lastly, huh? no more post count? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « K70 use non-standard layout, use 6.5u spacebar (very rare spacebar, hard to source). The keycaps set hard to source, need 2x 1.5u/ 3x 1u/ 2x 1.25u modifiers keys and 1x 6.5x spacebar. There are a lot of customer reviews saying that the LED die easily (LED defects), very high failure rates. You need very high luck so you won't get a defective K70. So, the build quality is not that good since have defective issues. Filco is king of manufactured Cherry MX switch keyboard. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Build quality top tier, never heard of any defective issue. Very solid when you type on it, more solid than other brands. Keyboard is about typing feel, you can bring your friend to shop that sell Filco and test type on it and compare with other brands keyboards. You will know immediately from the typing. Maybe you find a shop let him try Filco, then after that try your CM Storm. Filco use standard layout, very easy to find replacement keycaps set. Hardware Clubs/ Brands Discussions sub-forum don't give any post count. MKB thread is inside this sub-forum. |

QUOTE(ntw @ Jun 1 2014, 03:13 PM) u mean your hellboy? yes boss my hellboy gonna spray paint silver on my casing today, gonna try this method 180grit> 500grit> 1000grit> spray layer 1,2,3> 1000grit> spray layer 1,2> 1000grit> clear coat> 1000grit u think ok? silver tuhao my 2 cents: 180>500>layer 1 2 3> 1k > spray again>1k grit > clear coat >1k grit. depends on what clear coat it is. if you want matte then after clear coat light wet sand to remove gloss from clear coat. better go with 1.5 and above if wanna make the furface smooth. after layer 123 use 1.5k should be okay too. i used 100, 500, 1.5k and 2k. and after coat i didn't sand cause i used matte coat. |

Aw shit man I really wanted to get the K70.
Didn't know the LEDs die fast and some have a bad build quality. Opinion on the tesoro durandal g1n? I'm a sucker for aesthetics, so I guess the filco will be my last resort. |
