Seems like all the custom cases are made of aluminium. Got plastic one ah? But with similar design to the aluminium one. Alu will add quite a lot to the weight le.

Cos alu is heavier no? I carry my mech keyboard around so that added weight is really not welcomed.

What's the mechanical keyboard equivalent of a mouse? Like, is there something as tactile and fun to use for the mouse like there is for the keyboard (aka mechanical keyboard)?

Seems to resolve the plastic oily issue and printing gone for abs.

However.. we dont see backlitting on letters only for pbt. I've rummage through numerous sellers in taobao. They told me that there wont be backlitting on letters for pbt especially white keycaps. They are mainly transulent shine only *which means the whole keycap could be seen glowing with light*
I manage to came across relegendable keycaps cover which seems to fit the description for abs plastics since it act as a layer of protection. This way the abs wont get oily and the letters will remain long time.
However... judging from the information from you guys.. It wont be possible.

This is the layout Im doing, 65% I think?
For plate with swappable switch cover, the design is quite complicated. Found phantom plate CAD design, but too complicated for CAD noobs like me.
I'm making a CAD design starter kit (or whatever it is called) with video guide, just have to copy paste drag drop to create any keyboard design. Its done, but I'll upload the file once my case is done, just incase there's any mistake I need to fix.

Just got my Poker 2 from yuktsi14, nice keyboard, just lack of the USB cable...

Anyway, that's my office workspace, very small so I have to put it on my laptop, and on top of the palm rest due to the shorter length, otherwise it'll be pressing the keys on the laptop.
So now I'm looking for extra height palm rest if there's any, otherwise I'll have to custom my own from soft styrofoam and put inside a bag or something of which I already has it on my mind.
And thanks to justnits, I got a darn nice length cable for this keyboard as well, going to order another set, now looking at other colors...

Anyone has any experience with Colemak layout on the Poker 2? If I do switch the system's keyboard layout to Colemak, will it interfere with the default PN + [action] keys on the Poker 2?

Haha, I hope to get 60-70wpm in 1 month's time. I can't touch type yet at the moment even though I've memorized Colemak's layout.
Why did I switch? No particular reason, just want to try something new and to see if it's more comfortable to type in Colemak.
