QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Apr 28 2014, 06:06 PM) When u use 1 card, do you still get 120fps on low setting? Well...I used Mantle and did 2 tests on same rush server with about 60 players with single GPU (PCIE Power connected removed from 2nd card). One is on all ULTRA set and change to LOW settings mid game. Another is set to LOW before game starts. The one with all set to LOW before game starts runs at about 100-200 fps, which is expected. But with all set to ULTRA and changing to LOW presets during midgame, max FPS is only 125 from what I have seen. Didn't get to record the GPU usage This post has been edited by devillightning1: Apr 28 2014, 08:14 PM

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Apr 29 2014, 08:22 PM) QUOTE(Sentinel92 @ Apr 29 2014, 08:24 PM) I don't think so. It should be fine with even triple cards easily. But why did you think 4770K was the bottleneck? QUOTE(Unseen83 @ Apr 29 2014, 08:56 PM) i got 120-130FPS on my Crossfire R9 290X with i7 4770K(oc 4.2Ghz) , wonder why u say Cpu bottleneck Gpu...
Single player only...wtf CPU burn up again?

Im starting to think my CPU is faulty. Im getting like 60% CPU usage on Hitman Absolution Benchmark with abysmal FPS, just manage to stay above 70 FPS. And Battlefield 4 like constant 90%+ CPU usage on DX11 and only 48p at max. Should I do RMA ah? The CPU is already clocked at 4.3GHz and it is the same CPU usage at stock

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ May 1 2014, 09:07 AM) devillightning1something wrong with ure CPU score. Could be three things 1. Something else is loading it at the same time 2. Ure cpu is throttled 3. Something wrong with ure power management setting but i assume ure running at high performance in Windows aka Control Panel/Power This is what 4.3ghz 4770k should be around the score below for 3dmark 11 Performance, 3dmark 13 firestrike » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Disclaimer : Take note might be less cause when i did this its downloading loads and uploading at the same time and hosting a few things. Before i ran i saw minimal load so should be correct. Well, I was running on 4.2 instead of 4.3, and also I dont think there is anything running on the system except steam. Power Management is already at High Performance. CPU throttle? not enough psu power? or something wrong? This post has been edited by devillightning1: May 1 2014, 12:55 PM

I have Unifi, should I update windows? since this is a fresh format, though I doubt updating will do any good just like before format all fully updated

Thanks to cstkl1 sifu performance in BF4 since a lot better in DX11 instead of damn low FPS of 50-70. 3DMark 11 physics score also reach 10k haha, later go home start benchmarking. The issue is too high CPU voltage lol...

QUOTE(Sentinel92 @ May 1 2014, 08:58 PM) Take the processor, crack it open by removing the top heatsink, replace the cheap arse TIM that Intel uses with something better, close it back, and viola, delidded. Usually gets a 5-10℃ in improvement. But be warned that the top heatsink will now be forever loose. Open my cpu? Forget about it lol

QUOTE(terradrive @ May 9 2014, 01:34 PM) Just tried Assasin's Creed 4 Black Flag. Wow, never thought the R9 290 is running below 60fps on max settings and 4x MSAA. Crysis 3, Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider, etc So many games demanding GPU power even on 1080p. wow Which is why I opted for dual R9 290s...unfortunately my CPU... Anyway I ran AC4 on a single GPU, maxed out at 4xMSAA yesterday. I think I running at 60FPS. Can't really confirm the FPS though since I just ran it on another PC with a TV, didnt really install MSI afterburner.
