*
eh my GPUs no problems...I already using TRIXX to OC since the day I got it. Afterburner not stable even though temps higher

How is your CPU RMA progress?
*
Not even started yet...no time go Lowyat, probably next week or two...now I thinking if the 2nd R9 290 can fit into the HAF 912 Advanced using i5-2500k. BF4 using i5-2500k already seems to be bottlenecking the R9 290 single GPU, have to use Mantle cry.gif

I have seen people using GTX 780 TI SLI with 2500k and kicking ass in benchmark.

Probably GPU benchmarks, or this i5 got problem

Have you tried this?
FIX
It'll fit, don't worry.
Anyway, I myself too using 2500k, and tbh it'll wont bottleneck the 290...just overclock your card to 4.3GHz and you're good to go.

na..kasi drillz

Cool, gonna start assembling now. Kinda hate this casing lol, a bit builder unfriendly. To change intel stock cooler to other cooler need to remove MB can only change. Can think what kind of painful things will happen when switching out PSU from CX750M to 800W and installing 2nd GPU

Funny...AMD drivers doesnt allow me to enable crossfire in CCC...Even though windows have detected 2 R9 290s, yet in CCC there isnt any CrossfireX menu. P8P67 too old to support crossfire? I know this isnt the best board to run CFX, but its all I got now

It does, i'm using latest 14.4, there is option in CCC to enable crossfire.
*
Yeah I know it should be...Now trying to reinstall the drivers and Im gonna force the MB to run the 2nd PCI-E 2.0 to run at 4X

EDIT: one of the actions above worked lol...

hey all i'm gonna get myself a Powercolor R9 290 PCS+. the clock speed seems higher than sapphire tri-x as well as the cooling seems better. anyone any opinion against powercolor? thanks smile.gif
*
For running single GPU is fine, the temps will be better than Tri-X. However if you are planning to run dual GPU in the future, you may have cooling issues due to the triple slot design (I read in some forums http://www.overclock.net/t/1462592/powercolor-pcs-r9-290/180 ), so decide carefully hehehe. brows.gif

I think FarCry 3 is awesome now with (almost max? settings) with 4xMSAA i think. Got around average 47FPS on 1440p. For Crysis 3, any idea how to check FPS? My games all Ori punya (Origins and Uplay) tongue.gif.

I tried run Fraps but game failed to launch  sweat.gif

Wah your rig spec so crazy how come can bottleneck? 4K ka? HDAO looks nice on FarCry 3  drool.gif . Crysis 3 dunno FPS but seems quite smooth on High Settings. Very high settings need to reduce Shadow to High and AA=1xSMAA then smooth smile.gif
*
I write "kaboom" lol...4K probably wont bottleneck lah, but 1080p bottleneck like siao. Anyway before my CPU went "kaboom" and without 2nd 290, Crysis 3 I was able to play at Very High with just SMAA, u sure need to reduce shadows ah?

EDIT: nvm forgot u running on 1440p tongue.gif

Watch Dogs performance on PC is just piss poor with the graphics. Poor optimization everywhere and stuttering. No freaking idea why would you need 3GB of VRAM for the textures when the sign outside of a gun shop is so blurry. Crysis 3 punish your PC but gives you beautiful graphics, this game punishes your PC for no reason at all. Even Nvidia cards are having tons of problem, so much for "the way its meant to be played".

AMD and Nvidia Guys dont worry soon there will be a patch coming for all PC user which increase gpu usage and reduce stutter and lag and optimization for multi GPU users but note that they cannot solve VRAM issue because they believe that it is not an issue.

*
VRAM is not an issue they must be joking. So they are saying even 780 Ti can't run Ultra textures smoothly, something is seriously wrong with whatever streaming technology they using.
