AMD's temporary solution to the 970/980. Price cut for 290 and 290x can already be seen on Newegg/Amazon. You can get the aftermarket 290x for $400 and 290 for $300 now, with Never Settle bundle of course. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...2-079-_-Producthttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...5-499-_-Producthttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...5-505-_-Producthttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...1-569-_-Producthttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...2-080-_-ProductGood time to sell your 290s if u're planning to jump ship before the price cut reach our shore.

Planning to get 2 of Sapphire's R9 290 Vapor-X (keeping fingers crossed hoping the price cut will affect this variant of the 290 as well, sub 400 USD is good enough).
