Why do they diversify to get from few makers?

Isn't it more cost effective if all the buses are from the same maker/model that they can share the parts?

Just wondering tongue.gif

Probably delivery speed?

But then recently, Prasarana made large single order from Scania instead.

For Penang, it has been planned for these new Scanias (not the current one) to replace Chinese buses.

But when is Sabah/Sarawak going to have at least a decent public transport? Is Rapid there yet?

There is plan for Rapid to be in KK and Kuching, but again it is only plan.

Indeed, we are proud and honoured to be of service to the people of these cities – Kuantan, Kuching, Ipoh, Seremban and Kota Kinabalu. Immediately, we would be focusing on establishing RapidKuantan.

We aim to make full use of the expertise, experience and knowledge of our operating arms for bus - RapidKL for Klang Valley and Selangor; and RapidPenang for Penang to ensure the commuters of Kuantan and Pahang enjoy efficient and affordable mode of traveling.
