How to open a 12cm fan & paint it?

you doing (WTS) Case Modding Service still needing ask stupid question like this? U lousy modder. I thinking u better don mod for others ppl if u dono easy mod for your own fan. Or better u sending to real modder like Allngap to modding your fan. I thinking u better dont mod others ppls things oso since u not know simple mod like this.

Luckily I still have the pics in online.

1) Fan satu biji..


2) Sticker kasi remove. Some fans have another cover for the motor (lil black wan in the pic)


3) See the lil white retainer ring..use a flat screw driver to force it out of place to and remove. Gotta be careful not to lose the ring. It may just pop out and go missing...then ur farked.


4) Fan blades can be just pulled off


5) If ya wanna remove to motor itself and its too tight...use a philip screw driver..wrap it with lotsa tissue..poke it into the hole...and hammer it to force the motor out

but seriously...case modding and fan painting aint the same ler... case modding cut here n cut there.... fan painting requires some delicacy especially with the friggin ring

yeap...totally agreed...although i find taking out the "C" clip rather troublesome...always have the thought going through my mind wondering what if it snaps..

It's plastic lar. It won't snap. Ya just gotta push it down until it slips from the groove and then flick it out while covering the hole with your hand so it don't go missing in action.

The metal clips on some of those fast spinning deltas is another story. Those are da b1tch.

dunno bout u guys but the LED CM is a bit diffrent...it doesnt hv the plastic cover after pealing the sticker.
