Haha yeah. I also lazy want tell people what to buy. It's their money, let them buy what they want, unless they come to me and ask to recommend, then I'll tell them pros and cons of different (currently in market) phones.

Hi, ever since I registered myself here as a Nexus 5 user, I would like to ask something about audio recording.

Although I heard there was an issue about the hissing noise during video recording, I did download this app:

and so far the recording is okay (not much bothered about the hissing), unlimited and able to change bitrates. But I was wondering what is the highest bitrate it can go only for audio recording?

It could be useful for me again to record a seminar audio only, tried using other apps but turns out recorded audio was like 32kbps and it was not very audible...

Anyone here expert enough to know the highest bitrate???

which is better...the original camera app or this new google camera
and i noticed the google camera apps directly replaced the old original camera apps
anyone has the apk of the old camera app...in case wanna switch back?

It's better in UI and functionality. Why need to switch back ? From what I saw and tested, it doesnt affect image quality or speed at all.

because the old camera app after update have good autofocus
but unsure the new google camera app is as good or better
just asking because if it adds another separate app...its perfectly fine
but in this case, it directly replaced the old app

Well sorry if I posted in a wrong thread? But I was asking for a phone STAND recommendation and not a phone. Was asking here to see if there are any Nexus 5 users using stands.
