Thanks for considering Semenyih as part of the Kajang too...
Bro sour pisang sure disagree, as he would say Semenyih is so far from Kajang, especially from Bukit Jade...

I like this thread very much, it's hotspot of Kajang, but first 3 projects are from Semenyih...

QUOTE(kctay @ Apr 15 2014, 09:55 PM) Ya, Bangi, Semenyih, Beranang, sungai long all considered as Kajang vicinity. Even I think Balakong as well if not mistaken. Under MPKj right? Yeah, MPKJ covers quite substantial of area, even Cheras... "Majlis Perbandaran Kajang mempunyai kawasan pentadbiran seluas 78,761 hektar(787.61 km persegi). Ia merangkumi keseluruhan Daerah Hulu Langat iaitu Mukim Kajang, Cheras, Semenyih, Beranang, Hulu, Langat dan Hulu Semenyih kecuali Mukim Ampang".. |

QUOTE(silent_stalker @ Apr 15 2014, 10:14 PM) yes like eco hill which i really respect The semenyih road from tesco semenyih to pekan semenyih is known for its dreaded bad traffic, so they build a road to bypass that road n straight can enter LEKAS. That is a very responsible developer. That's why I always said buying SEH not only buying a house, you also buy a beautiful PARC, a grand community hall and also the infra as well... Worth for the value... This post has been edited by samkps: Apr 15 2014, 10:54 PM |

QUOTE(kctay @ Apr 15 2014, 10:24 PM) Yes, this is very important to support the growth of the people and traffic coming to Kajang. Total changeover from satay town True, that's why I hope the developer in this area not only focus earning money by just building houses, build more infra and greenery landscape as well... Just like SEH have the Lekas Link, while EM and SEH 2 will have the Lekas interchange... |

QUOTE(brother love @ Apr 15 2014, 11:02 PM) Me not frum Kajang, everytime me went there m.e really hate the place becoz it looks like mess with many old dilapated shpoffices, even the neweer one at Kajang 2 really eyesore, and its really confusing place...coming frum IOI puchong side via Putajaya, its damn far especially kajang 2... Let the kajang folks reply you about your comment on the messy, confusing dilapated shopoffices in Kajang. But I can comment on the distance wise. You should follow LDP -> SKVE -> Silk -> exit at Jalan Reko -> Kajang 2 Whole journey about 30km ++, about the distance from IOI puchong to port klang loh... If traffic are smooth, should be able to reach within 40 minutes.. |

QUOTE(brother love @ Apr 16 2014, 08:56 PM) Sa,kps tats the exact road i took, even than as u said approx 45 minutes without jam, now imagine if u woking at kl...anyway the place reaaly confusing and first impressions not gud like a poster said..and u know wat, when time to go back, either ( if frum kajang 2 side) u go through the town or u follow the misleading tolled highway signboards, which makes u travel 2-3 x further example to sg long...for outsiders reaallly not gud Oh, you follow the route but miss the junction enter to Jalan Reko? I have some friends staying in kajang and working in KL, so far seems okay. Just being told Jam near KL area is become worse now. Perhaps you just new to kajang, that's why feel lost.. I been to Putrajaya many times too, but sometime also will lost too, and take a big round to turn back. |

QUOTE(silent_stalker @ Apr 17 2014, 02:23 AM) I personally think traffic jams is not an issue. As long u live near a city, u are bound to face bad traffic n I think it no longer be a major influence in property price. What I like about kajang is that, we have so many options going there. Unlike sg besi, cheras, serdang, puchong which are famous for bad traffic during peak hours which ur choice of roads n transport are limited. Kajang, u have mrt, komuter, bus n many choice of highways n inner roads connected to it. That's why SEH is building Lekas link, EM and SEH 2 will have its interchange to LEKAS as well, in order to ease the traffic along Jalan Semenyih. After Lekas, it can direct you to Silk which enable you to commute to other places. My concern with kajang/semenyih is the jln semenyih road. The long stretch road that connects kajang to semenyih n continue to beranang. Worried how all these development will give impact to that road that is almost reaching it's limit. My other concern is the number of foreigners staying there. Just hope once property price goes up over there, these foreigners will choose other places. I am still waiting the confirmation about the linking road of Jalan Semenyih to Jalan Bangi Lama. If it is confirmed, that's mean Semenyih will be connected to NSE highway as well, alternative route to KL.. |

QUOTE(silent_stalker @ Apr 17 2014, 10:18 PM) Connect from where? I thought already exist, from jln semenyih enter pekan semenyih there got road to jln bangi lama. From there go into bukit mahkota . Enter nse from there. But that road sometimes jam wooo That one will connect to Serene Height and to Mahkota. That road is very small and so gloomy... The propose new road is the figure. It will connect Jalan Semenyih and Jalan Bangi lama, passing through Eco Majestic, and ultimately go to bandar mahkota.... QUOTE(silent_stalker @ Apr 17 2014, 10:31 PM) Wahh.,, then thats good news. I think its bcoz they can no longer widen jln semenyih, they connect many other alternative roads there. Very good Yeah, as EW is a big developer, I think they will build some infra connecting EM to Jalan Semenyih too, so just extend to Jalan Bangi Lama loh... |

QUOTE(twincharger07 @ Apr 18 2014, 04:06 AM) there wont be new toll for SEH.. Thanks for the info. SEH will have the Lekas link that directly join the Semenyih toll, there will be no additional toll indeed. SEH will link towards north to join the existing toll exist.. if u ask sps, they will tell u no such new toll exit just for SEH.. What I meant here is there may be a new direct link that cut through EM, joining the Jalan Semenyih and Jalan Bangi Lama, then heading to NSE putra mahkota toll, via Bangi Avenue.. |

QUOTE(payamam @ Apr 18 2014, 10:17 AM) I've no problem with SP building the interchange at SEH to LEKAS. I love the SEH project, I like the concept. I agree that buying projects like SEH is not just buying a house, but buying a package. I did say I agree that it is very responsible to build the interchange. Bro, the toll rate / number of toll is the agreement between government and highway concessionaire, and it is beyond our control. I have been using and keep paying for more than 15 years, but until today I still paying... The only problem is I'm just a bit frustrated that nowdays we can't go very far without having to use highways with tolls. Why not like MRR2? Long stretch but no toll plaza. Or LDP from Sunway to Damansara. Again, long stretch, no toll plaza. Silk from Kajang/Bangi to Putrajaya also like that ma. Besraya only 1 toll at Sg Besi, not that expensive. Can still consider reasonable. About LEKAS, you have to either go to SILK (2 tolls) to reach Putrajaya or have to go through Kajang and Saujana Impian to avoid the tolls, ie long congestions before reaching SILK. Now that is Nevertheless, building highway can shorten the time for travelling, sometime distance as well. A good township must have good connectivity and highway is an inevitable element in it. I never see a good township without comprehensive connectivity and highway is the key element of it. Developer who put effort in building infrastructure is the responsible developer, coz the residents will use the infra almost everyday. |

QUOTE(kctay @ Apr 20 2014, 09:48 PM) Anyone heard about EKVE? The expressway connecting Sg Long to Gombak. If this comes true, it will add connectivity to Kajang. EKVE shall be built and will have interchange at Bandar Mahkota Cheras and connected to Silk.. Currently to Ukay Perdana, perhaps will be extended to UIA in future. http://www.malaysia-chronicle.com/index.ph...3#axzz2zcd7V3UA http://www.starproperty.my/index.php/artic...o-ukay-perdana/ http://www.ikimap.com/map/ekve-deia-alignment Next time, SEHrians can use this road to Ampang and bypass Cheras Center. If really extended to UIA, can shorten the travel time to Genting too... This post has been edited by samkps: Apr 22 2014, 09:40 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |
