I like this thread very much, it's hotspot of Kajang, but first 3 projects are from Semenyih... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Thanks for considering Semenyih as part of the Kajang too...

Bro sour pisang sure disagree, as he would say Semenyih is so far from Kajang, especially from Bukit Jade... tongue.gif tongue.gif

The semenyih road from tesco semenyih to pekan semenyih is known for its dreaded bad traffic, so they build a road to bypass that road n straight can enter LEKAS. That is a very responsible developer.  notworthy.gif

Let the kajang folks reply you about your comment on the messy, confusing dilapated shopoffices in Kajang.

But I can comment on the distance wise.

You should follow LDP -> SKVE -> Silk -> exit at Jalan Reko -> Kajang 2

Whole journey about 30km ++, about the distance from IOI puchong to port klang loh... If traffic are smooth, should be able to reach within 40 minutes..

Oh, you follow the route but miss the junction enter to Jalan Reko? I have some friends staying in kajang and working in KL, so far seems okay. Just being told Jam near KL area is become worse now.

Perhaps you just new to kajang, that's why feel lost.. I been to Putrajaya many times too, but sometime also will lost too, and take a big round to turn back. tongue.gif

That's why SEH is building Lekas link, EM and SEH 2 will have its interchange to LEKAS as well, in order to ease the traffic along Jalan Semenyih. After Lekas, it can direct you to Silk which enable you to commute to other places.

I am still waiting the confirmation about the linking road of Jalan Semenyih to Jalan Bangi Lama. If it is confirmed, that's mean Semenyih will be connected to NSE highway as well, alternative route to KL.. rclxms.gif

That one will connect to Serene Height and to Mahkota. That road is very small and so gloomy... shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

The propose new road is the figure. It will connect Jalan Semenyih and Jalan Bangi lama, passing through Eco Majestic, and ultimately go to bandar mahkota.... thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Thanks for the info. SEH will have the Lekas link that directly join the Semenyih toll, there will be no additional toll indeed.

What I meant here is there may be a new direct link that cut through EM, joining the Jalan Semenyih and Jalan Bangi Lama, then heading to NSE putra mahkota toll, via Bangi Avenue..

Bro, the toll rate / number of toll is the agreement between government and highway concessionaire, and it is beyond our control. I have been using and keep paying for more than 15 years, but until today I still paying... doh.gif doh.gif The only thing I can said about this "money" issue is try to use your "vote" wisely 4 years from now.

Nevertheless, building highway can shorten the time for travelling, sometime distance as well. A good township must have good connectivity and highway is an inevitable element in it. I never see a good township without comprehensive connectivity and highway is the key element of it.

Developer who put effort in building infrastructure is the responsible developer, coz the residents will use the infra almost everyday.

EKVE shall be built and will have interchange at Bandar Mahkota Cheras and connected to Silk.. Currently to Ukay Perdana, perhaps will be extended to UIA in future.
