Was informed by Affin bank staff that the 4.05% 15-mth already close from this week.. so no choice have to go for RHB 15-mth step-up promotion with CASA. The RHB 15-mth promotion will end on 31-Aug.

Me too. Went to Affin yesterday and was told already reached quota.

i bought four, using 4  names, 1 name max only 50k.
still in my current records are:
1) sukok simpanan rakyat 2009 - 14.5.09 -14.5.12 5% quarterly interest
2) bon merdeka 2009  -18.3.09 - 18.3.12 5% monthly interest
3)bon merdeka 2008 - 11.4.08 - 11.4.2011 5% quarterly interest
4) sukok 1 malaysia 2010 - 21.6.10-21.6.13 5% quarterly interest.
IIANM besides those above, got somemore prior to that.

I received one SMS from BR this afternoon, it stated like this:

I feel the Hot and Heat of 3 months FD... 

This happened years ago. Was being defensive at that time to snap photos of the culprits. However I noticed that the Alphard was parked on the main road parallel to my parking spot with, I think, a driver & 2 accomplices in it. The stabber was standing about 20 feet away from the front of my car & another accomplice positioning himself about 6 feet from my driver side.

When I blasted my horn, I could see the Alphard stopping ahead to pick up the accomplice who was near my door while the stabber disappeared to the back of the bank.

Anyway, the police told me later that the number plate may not be real... 

Because I notice this time UOB offers 3 months FD.. 
I think 3 months FD should be hot now just like what Ah Goat mentioned as below..

But to place 3 months FD is taking a big risk that maybe I will miss the last train to MBSB 4.7% wor.. 
Very headache now... 

MBSB FD promotion is still active in FD market, MBSB is in the middle of discussion to come out with
a FD promo soon maybe in next month, this FD promo is like this:
4.15% for 6 months, but 20% needs to put in saving account (I think the saving rate is 2.25%, need
to double check).  Based on this FD promo from MBSB, MBSB obviously is not sleeping.. I guess the raise
of 4.7% is possible if next OPR increase again..    But I could be wrong la.. Ai.. quite headache.. 

I want to re-plan my strategy.. 

Just called to BR, FD rates are still the same and no change..

I think most likely it will, but just do not know when..? 
I am thinking to place 6 months FD with UOB..
BR is very slow to react..., I do not like they are no longer issuing check..
