repeater solution often applied in shopping complex or commercial building. when u walk around in shopping complex try look at the floor ceiling for a mushroom type white color stuff, they are indoor omni antennas (a lot ) to disperse out phone call / 3g signals, therefore ppl can get quality call or connect 3g inside building with good signal. With good signal reception, also means the phone no need to works full load at highest radiation level to get signal, good for ppl health.
repeater solution can solve all wireless gadgets (phone/ tablet/ pc modem/ mifi / cpe) signal problems as smart phone or tablet can't plug in external antenna for them and it is not practical as well. the drawback is high cost of repeater machine itself. repeater product quality varied, it can range from low quality stuff with low price up to thousands ringgit also got. again, low price = not that good product quality or not durable (performance dropping...)
