Thanks guys for the feedback appreciate it! 🙏

GPX is it worth the extra bucks? Got better switches means can last longer right? Had never DIY replacing switches before Incase anything happen the GPW switches
*
I'd take the GPX over the GPW simply because of the lower weight and no RGB, though honestly I wouldn't use either of the Omron switches at the end of the day. My GPW I've already modded it out with Kailh GM8 (previously Huano white dots).

I had 2 G502 Hero crapped out in less than 1 year because of double-clicking issue

Now leaning towards ROG Gladius III for its user-replaceable switch
Would love to hear everyone's input on ASUS mouse. Are they good?

G502 uses omron D2FC-F-K(50M), infamous for double clicking and/or pressure issue.

All mice switches are user replaceable though. Not sure why this is a feature.

Otherwise Gladius 3 is a fairly comfortable mice if you're a relaxed claw/palm grip user with hand size between 18-19cm x 9-10cm. My hands are 17x9cm, so I have to fully palm it to be comfortable but I do not like palm grip anymore.

Not interested with opening up the mouse & soldering
Gladius III makes replacing the switch easier

They're optical switches, theoretically it's impossible to double click. If it does then the shutter in the microswitch would already have a structural failure.

So idk man, it's pretty useless feature unless you're interested in switch rolling every other week.

You can go for this Acer mouse, it's a good one and Shopee is doing huge discount for their payday sale. Normal price is RM199 but now it's below RM100, just right at your budget. thumbup.gif

G102 is one of my favorite mouse, on sale usually can get below RM70.

The only problem I have with it is the switches are quite trash. But if you're willing to solder, changing switches is a 20 minutes job at most and there are plenty to choose from.

+1 for G102, but mine had double clicking issues after 6 months of usage, currently considering DeathAdder Essential at RM7x ish during sales. Or u can top up a bit go for G304 wireless or Basilisk X Wireless, both at around RM140

Most mice can be revived with soldering indeed. If you look at it like an engineer, mice are very simple operating devices.

Practice some soldering on the side if you're uncomfortable. It doesn't take long to get proficient with soldering.

Pre-covid, touching mouse in public is already like putting your hand in the sewer.

Now covid times, still want to go touch public mouse?

obviously risk is there, but i also appreciate store that puts up samples to test, because how else would you know how they feel?

Guess most stores now are not going to bother about it

Buy it, try it, don't like it sell it.

Besides, how do you actually feel a mouse in a store anyways? All you're holding is the shape for a minute. That doesn't translate to you holding it for hours at home in your own space. You also won't know how the mouse performs when you're actually using it.

lol you have your opinions dude. Not everyone wants to lose time, energy, and money to flip stuff.

Don't know about you, but testing the shape, weight balance and build quality helps filter out a lot of selection. That's part of why storefronts exists.

And of course you dont go test for performance. zzz
