I'd rather go for a mouse that has a bit more functionality to it with more buttons or even higher DPI settings. And yeah mainly cause of the price point for what your getting... and I am worried that the cable is the same on 400S so I am just going to run into the same sort of problems down the line...

I tried the g502. i hated it.

problems for me with the g502: these are all subjective

-big. a little bit bigger than g500 but with new dimensions
-heavy. even without all the weights it's heavy
-somewhat ugly due to the large g bling.

by technical merits, the g502 has an amazing sensor, but saying you wont regret it is not really true.

try the mouse first before buying it. i love all the extra buttons except the sniping one but i cant come to terms with the size and weight. scroll wheel is also somewhat bad; heavy and resistive. IINM also no dual mode scroll but i forgot to try it.

Looking to buy the Logitech G602. But how does it track on different surfaces? It will be used while I'm on the go.

Will the optical sensor do its job on different surfaces? Or should I just get the Laser G700s

Well as for me, after 3 mice usage, finally I have found a perfect mouse. The problems I encountered with the previous 3 mice were mainly the ergonomic aspects (some how my thumb could not reach the two thumb buttons situated at the sides of the mouse). G502 Proteus suits my hand perfectly. As for the large G bling light....you can always off it in the setting so no biggie for me. And the scroll button is just nice...not to hard...not to soft....infinite scrolling option is priceless for spreadsheets editing....

Will put my Corsair M65 Mouse for sale shortly hihi....

get the g602, battery life is infinitely better

@Zad

i have no issue with ergonomics other than the size. it's the weight that truly puts me off.

I see. But what about tracking? I think I'd be using this on the road. Thought it'd be good to ready it up for every surface possible out there.

Surprisingly my G300 did ok on glass. Guess the optical sensors are much improved these days.

wired mouse is always better at tracking. but if you really want wireless, you cant do better than logitech's as far as I know.

What's your budget? Rival is a good choice too, it has good right hand ergonomics.

Sensei is nice, Kana slightly smaller, best to audit it yourself first.

Your budget gets you either Sensei and Rival. Sensei is an ambidextrous mouse, fitting either right/left hand. Rival is ergonomic, for right hander. You will need to check out their reviews to understand the technical differences. I personally prefer the cheaper Rival. Check out the Invictus Gaming version of the Rival. thumbup.gif Alternatively, you can also consider Razer Deathadder 2013. wink.gif

Rival is so good. I play BF4 with it really gain my aims better. The rubber on each side make your hand more grip and easier to aim. Couple with qck+ mose pad. The best mouae i ever use.

Just bought secondhand sensei frost blue and a QcK mass. Need time to get use to it since my previous mouse is gigabyte m6900 which fit my hand nicely but this one quite big. But for the mousepad, its freaking good and loving it
