Rapid battery drain is because you set it to 1000hz polling rate.

Any Logitech G304 users here who have used since 2018?

Wanna compare your scrollwheel condition to mine. Mine seems to have ballooned slowly for no blardy reason, getting bigger and bigger. wtf

Almost 2 years now , no such issue , though I owned 2 G102 first gen , then G305 , all the scrolls will feel looser with time and not to mention double clicks.

Oh, what is the correct rate to set, it is default at 1000hz.

500, 250 or 125hz, which is the best option?

Edit: Now I put at 500hz as I read article mentioned you won't notice much differences in between 500 or 1000hz.
Most article recommended 500hz also. They recommended don't lower than that. I think this is the best option then.

I hope this can save some battery juice on it.

SSJBen Thanks a lot for highlight the polling rate issue.

I think it solved my mouse battery drain issue.

Already half day and my battery life seems only drop 1 ~ 2%.
That is awesome! biggrin.gif

Yes 500hz is fine. Honestly at above 144hz, 1000hz polling rate is theoretically not even enough. So you might as well just stick with 500hz. We are long overdue for higher than 1000hz polling rate.

Another setting to lower battery consumption is to disable the pointless RGB.

It depends on the weight and sensor of your mice. Subjectively it also depends how much glide and stopping power you want.

If you don't understand what all that means, you don't need a new mouse pad.

Suggestion for zero latency wireless mouse that is not fancy looking? Budget below 250
And slightly larger (finger too long for most mouse😅)

I had the Krait, Abyssus, Deathadder, Lancehead and currently using the Viper Mini. Oh my, this newest mice is my favourite in terms of shape, size and its responsiveness.

Viper Mini really nice mouse, but 2 nitpicks is the scratchy bottom ring and optical clicks feels less tactile. though even with me small hands it is too narrow, cramps a little, back to G102 tongue.gif
