Have faced this before, without purchase receipt they will not entertain for warranty claim.
one thing i don't like about wireless mice is the charging. so maybe if they can pair the charging pad with mice, that would be fine. like this corsair dark core rgb has a charging pad. the unfortunate thing is, you can't use the mouse while it's charging on the pad maybe the tech got developed to allow usage at same time for another mouse? https://www.techradar.com/sg/reviews/corsai...ark-core-rgb-se
Logitech wireless mice have this feature isn’t it?
Isn't this normal here? Most distributor will not entertain warranty if no receipt. Some give the reason that you have bought the item from oversea (normally at lower price), thus taking advantage of the market. From my experience, I always took my case to international level, the main HQ. Then, show the HQ letter to local distributor.
Sometimes it can be the opposite too. Main US HQ says my warranty not valid, but local MY distributor honors my RMA.

Consumer rights and awareness not the best in Malaysia. Most of the time main HQ will honour the warranty but in the cases that they don't, it is usually stated in their warranty policy because they also don't want consumer to take advantage of the grey market, undercutting their distributors and such.
For items with serial numbers, manufacturing dates can be used as substitute for purchased date, or purchase receipt in this case, and have the warranty period commence from that date. But unless stated on the box or website or etc, if the distributors do not have this information it is simply too much customer service to provide and they just don't entertain you, easy.
