QUOTE(azrash @ Jun 18 2014, 03:50 PM) so your benchmark portfolio is one of pub mutual UT? I learned about Sharpe ratio from a finance unit that I took. I am using it as another factor when considering different UT, other than their consistency in yearly returns. I am using the straight up Sharpe ratio that is usually given in the fund fact sheet. If average inflation is around 3% a year. Today's 2k would worth 5.8k when I retire. Crazy. Yea, that means 200K would be worth 580K.. 400K now would make you a millionaire

Bleh.. They charge 0.70 with FPX.. and their news is not up to date even I mean think about it, suppose you put in Rm1000 at 1%. You save 1%.. that is Rm1? okay so you save Rm1. Now you want to put in say Rm200 every month.. and then you get charged Rm0.70 every month, that's like Rm8.40 a year. So you are going to spend Rm8.40 a year.. to save Rm1? QUOTE(wodenus @ Jun 19 2014, 01:21 PM) Which MF can gain 50% in one day lol I said YTD = Year To Date. Mana gua ala cakap one day gain 50%. @Kaka: Is there potential to go upside? How do I know? I don't; I only know that I hold too much large cap which means my risk is concentrated there, hence to diversify, I need to move some to small cap (Bolehland exposure). To put it in another word, my small cap was under-weight. I also hold Global exposure and Commodites linked fund, their asset allocation is within my target range. I may tambah my US equities later on. Xuzen

Oh.. A little update. I sold off EIGEM due to very small % of my portfolio. Not seeing any result.
Now I'm holding AmDynamic, HSAQ, GEYF and AIW (Ya.. Switched out PGSF for this after hearing all the comments). What's next? I think I am 1-2 funds short. Advice guys?
