QUOTE(ongdennis @ Nov 13 2014, 10:39 AM) the d750 for me is more like replacement for D610 but they cant name it as D650 as replacement model for D610... because ho...next time if the D600 user that keep on send their camera for shutter replacement due to the dust/oil issue and the problem cant solve...they will get new replacement model. quote from the Nikon service advisory "However, if a number of multiple granular dust spots are still noticeable in images captured with a D600 upon which the above service has been performed several times, Nikon will replace it with a new D600 or an equivalent model." just my little 2 cents crazy thought and the d600 series's prices will drop again if they introduce it as d650.

QUOTE(BaRT @ Nov 13 2014, 01:50 PM) Just kenot brain nikon marketing strategy D800 -->D800E ----> D810 D600 ---> D610 Then all the initial model will drop price. So what next? D750 --->D760?? for sure, it's the new gen of product. every older generations product will depreciate when the new generations come out, that's the logic. if not who's going to buy the new one.

QUOTE(slimfox @ Nov 13 2014, 11:48 PM) Trust me that rotating LCD thing you will hardly use it. I have a D5100 and only one time I use the rotating LCD, that was when I had to shoot above a group of people. You should consider a second hand d7000. Somehow agree with this. Rotating screen works best with mirrorless cameras, because they can focus easily and quickly with live view where most DSLR can't, meaning you limit the screen for manual focus/ video or tight angles only or else you would wait forever for the camera to focus while shooting with the screen.

QUOTE(silenkill @ Nov 30 2014, 05:57 PM) Hey guys ...I want to get a lens adapter for d5100 to ef lens.....I can't find in malaysia Cause I have a 11-16mm tokina lens for my black magic. Cause I doesn't want to spend another few thousand to get a same lense. Is super urgent....going to use it on Wednesday.... been looking for awhile already. I don't think there's any? Heard of Nikkor to canon but never heard of canon to Nikon. This post has been edited by mingyuyu: Nov 30 2014, 08:16 PM

QUOTE(BaRT @ Dec 4 2014, 07:57 PM) guys, take a look on this.. this was a photo shoot by me using my D610 (manual focus, 30/s, ISO 3200) I chose this setting because it captured almost the same lighting & ambient from my actual/real eyes view. From this image, obviously we can see the contrast right? The issue is...why my camera unable to auto focus it? They claim D610 have good contrast detection in low light. But it not happen here. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « well in this setting I don't expect any camera to be able to focus.

QUOTE(@secret@ @ Dec 13 2014, 08:46 PM) guys, how to remove my camera mirror dust? not the sensor I tried everything from the cleaning kit. It's really distracting spotting the dust from the viewfinder don't really suggest you to clean it by yourself. I had the same problems before but end up I just ignored it since the dust will come and go as you snap more.

QUOTE(@secret@ @ Dec 15 2014, 12:30 AM) Just so distracting. Lol Have to get used to it The dust got in when I cleaned the camera. Gosh!! well just live with it for a period of time, when you take photos and the mirror goes up and down, it is possible to shake the dusts away
