Some juvenile red gold and yellow gold from my recent spawn...they are approximately 2 months old as of 16th of Nov...Here's some pics for you guys to enjoy

Jasspery...still to young to determine their quality yet...but the potential is there...hopefully they'll turn up nice

Jit...i can't confirm that yet...coz i only notice 2 ray on the fishes but the photo kinda show some 3-4 ray but then again the pictures are not that clear so can't really confirm whether they'll turn hmpk or not. The caudal spread is very good for this line...got the genes from the father...perfect 180 deg even on 2-ray...the downside is the gold shine...very weak...now eyeing on your green dragon spawn for outcross haha

Jit the red gold piece has indeed a few 4-ray branching...notice it today under some bright sunlight and i also discovered another piece with extended dorsal ...quite satisfied with this spawn although there's only 5 remaining fishes.

Yeah the rest reported to god long long time ago...supposingly got 6 but 1 got bent spine so i cull it. I think the gold is developing into 4-ray as well but night time too dark can't see properly hafto check it out again tomorrow.

Put ketapang leaf n put some salt...the water parameters in kl convention center is very bad that's y the fishes doesn't look too healthy.

Ok yewlin i'll let u know 1 day in advance....your female bf is really really nice ler...the more i see it the more i like it hahaha but i dun think you're selling and even if you do i dun think i can afford it hehe

freshyyf the plants are for wild betta and it's to prevent them from jumping because they are notorious jumpers...besides all other tanks have filtration except betta and the water quality there is very bad. Furthermore the air conditioned hall make things worst and fishes can be only benched out on the last day. So we need to ensure the fishes is not dead and decides to let the owner put medication on fishes that is sick...so many fish kena white spot ler if no medication dunno how to explain to the owners if their fishes went to betta heaven. I do have to admit that this is the first large scale competition that BSM has ever handled so kinda lacking in experience but overall it can be considered as successful la and hopefully there'll be much more improvements in future competitions.

Lure me into bf???c how lar coz i myself handle 2 line oso headache liao...not exactly 2 oso...2 blue hmpk and 1 red gold/gold and 1 dragon so consider 4 line liao and yesterday i got 2 free copper hm dunno wanna start or not...might pass to some1 else who's interested to kickstart the hobby

Freshyyf if you can get betta persephone keep them n breed them...this species is getting rarer day by day...i'm not good with wilds so i think you better ask the expert in wilds from bsm forum...dzul and zahar should be able to give u some info bout it

Sorry crazymouse couldn't remember the exact spelling hehe...yewlin crazymouse uncle brings in fishes from pichet so next time we could get fishes from pitchet directly without going through irvin in sing....should be much cheaper tat way i think

Here's your bf female yewlin...my yellow gold is only 1/3 of this female size lar...it's the photo and zooming that's made him look big. I'm using an old nikon coolpix3700 with only 3.2 mega pixel...consider lousy by today's standard de

Just got back the bf hmpk that yewlin pass to me...my advice is grab them before they're gone...it's the salamander type of bf and not the normal blue/turqoise bf that's posted in page 40. Wondering what's a sala bf then look at yewlin's avatar...the color is slighty different but definately sala or maybe lavender...i'm always confuse between these 2 hehe...pics later as my digicam just ran out of battery and photo taking sessions with bettas is a pain in the as* so maybe tomorrow la.

Yewlin what'll i get if i spawn that guy with a royal blue female??? No matching female la i've even a crazier idea spawning that guy with the yellow dragon i got from aquafair...hahaha
