people say drink more water is good for our health.... i used to drink lots water... and i sweat a lot also... more than other people.... people say this is because of my kidney cant absorb that much... so, what should i do?? but, when i drink less water, will dehydrate.... many people say drinking too much water also not good for health... which is correct?? i m so confuse now...

I read some articles about drinking plain water. Yeah, water is essential. However, drinking too much has a side-effect. You may feel bloated because too much water will slow down your electrolite flow in the blood stream. That's why recommended amount of water is 2 liters per day (that's 250ml times 8, cups of water a day). Of course to stay hydrated you gonna need to drink water, but not too much, I think.

lol theres nothing such as drinking too much or too little, you drink only when u need it or what u need only... as everyone has their own ... limit , yeah I call it limit, on average 2 litres a day is recomended for everyone...

so i guess you just drink whenever you feel wanna drink only smile.gif keep it simple no need to calculate the amount of water u drank in a day...

oedema is a not caused by drinking too much water...it is caused by heart failure, kidney, tyroid, liver (to name a few) or in a normal person heat which causes the peripheral blood vessels to expand, resulting in fluid shifts from the blood vessels to surrounding tissues and long periods of immobility such as a long flight where blood pools in the veins.

the correct term is hyperhydration or water poisoning/water intoxication which is a fatal disturbance in brain function when normal balance of electrolytes in the body is pushed outside of safe limits by a very rapid intake of water.

p.s- yes. too much water can actually kill you.

Light yellow indicates slight dehydration, but RED????? shocking.gif That could be an indicator of something very, very serious.

yes... actually oedema is not a direct caused of drinking too much of water.. but might contributed indirectly by excessive of water in the body.. tat is why patient with oedema have their water intake restricted..

nope... your body dont work that way. You skinny because your is clean and the system is optimun and all the energy use to digest the food and absorb it all which is good thing. The only thing you have to worry about is it the kidney overwork or something like that. But if you dont eat or drink something nasty, then the kidney is not really doing much thing. Even though it is working, it is helping your body to clean the body. Remember, your body is always trying to help you. You can check your urine colour, if got colour, then your body is cleaning your system.
