Btw, I'm thinking of collecting a set of those Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles minifigs, any sifu can advice which are the sets to get to complete the minifigs collection? Are the 2014 figs better than the 2013 figs? I prefer the classic ones and not the fancy ones with their underwater gear etc. Many thanks!

The box not any longer than before, it is just shorter so gives the impression that it is longer. It is roughly the same size as 10225 R2-D2.

Hmmm... Not that I noticed. You Lego discoloured? What colour bricks/parts or the whole set discoloured? I heard yellow is always a problem... Even newly opened from the same set you will see notable shading differences between yellow pieces.

Ah! They were meant to be in colder climates, obviously 'melting' in the tropics!

Haha! Jokes aside, it's strange that it is turning yellowish if not exposed to direct sunlight/UV. Another possibility is heat, did you put them in an oven?

So sorry to hear that bro. Well, I had my fair share of tense moments waiting seemingly forever for my purchases to arrive. Only just last month my order from Poland spent 3 weeks in Bangkok because the parcel box was smudged in oil and Thai post was very nice to took it away for inspection and wrapped it in another layer of tough plastic bag before shipping to me.

What I want to say is never give up hope, last year one of my purchases took 6 months to reach me from Russia. That one I nearly gave up hope but there was good communication between myself and the seller throughout the ordeal.

I don't think BrickLink will want to get into this sort of dispute especially if the seller make it very clear in their homepage that they are not going to be responsible. BL will step in if the seller send the wrong part or sell old part as new etc. I doubt they will get involved if it is the postman's problem...

It is true also, some seller make it very clear that once the order is shipped it is no longer their responsibility and advise buyer to buy insurance if they want the protection. This is also a fair statement from the seller's point of view because most of them on BrickLink are doing it as a hobby, not a full fledge business so they will have zero insurance coverage against this sort of things.

Just collect whatever that catches your fancy. Most of us here are completist so we complete the entire series/set whether we like all the minifigs or not.

You don't have to be bound by that "curse", just collect whatever you like.

However, usually we all started off very innocently like that, very discipline and only collect what we like... Then slowly the poison takes hold and we manifests into completist who must buy everything!
