this WP 8.1 really drains battery..

on average, its around 3-5% in hourly basis...

last midnight 1:47AM full charged...

when i leave home for work at 7:25AM... it left 87%...

last record at 03:06PM... it left 43%...

of course, there is some fiddling around in between~

Wild guess, Cortana is enjoying her meal. Having a voice assistance as aid is pretty sweet but u have to deal with higher battery consumption. Just like Google Now, a thing to love and hate.

Yes there is additional battery drain but honestly with so much extra stuff you can't expect no power draw difference right? I'm fine with the slightly higher power use, else you just disable Cortana by switching back to MY region

I'm currently on UK region due to the voucher utilization~

UK also no Cortana haha! Stay there for a day see if your battery life improves
