Finally a international Icon for global market, Lumia 930 will be a hit if Nokia priced it right. I like the boxy body of 930. tongue.gif

Lack of SD Card support is correct but where did u read that it lacks Glance screen support? Besides the screen is OLED somemore.
*
I think through Icon's review. tongue.gif

Btw i do think 930 will have Glance suport. smile.gif

read the news already, can't wait. but will lost all downloaded apps.. huhu
*
Its good Nokia will push Cyan update throughout all Lumia devices running Black.

Dont mind about losing download apps here, will reset phone anyway after update. tongue.gif

losing the download apps here is referring to those apps that we downloaded on our own right?

how about the standard preloaded Nokia Apps?
*
Ya, basically phone will be back to the state where u 1st start it up, default Nokia's and MS's stuffs out of the box.

6' with 1080p vs 5' with 1080p

it depends on whether you want a higher DPI or bigger viewing size experience.
*
Well, to me...microSD slot DO matter. laugh.gif

Oya, the battery as well. 1000mAh short is a deal breaker to me. tongue.gif

1520 using IPS LCD rite??

for me, amoled color is more saturated than IPS LCD....
never like color produced from amoled, seems to fake... huhuhu
*
Ya, i like LCD more, produced more natural colour. IPS will add icing on the cake. laugh.gif

maybe they though glance isnt that important since android and ios dont even have glance also. haha~ well. design for lumia 930 kinda nice but just not full fill what i need. anyway, it is the perfect size that im looking for instead of lumia 1520. haha...but nvm, im already used to it with 1520. lol...
*
Apparently, because Icon and 930 lacked of 'display memory' on their OLED due to cost cut. laugh.gif

Not a bad thing actually as we might see 930 with decent price.

Dear all, I have released new version of my app called MY ASEAN Holidays.

From this app you will be able to get 2014 national and state holidays for ASEAN countries. School holiday calendar only available for Malaysia and Singapore for now.

What's more .. you can also set multiple reminders for different holidays in different countries !

.. and if you frequently want to see countdown to the next holiday, just Pin Live Tile & enable notifications .. voila, you will get a daily reminder on the next holiday coming soon !!

New update on version 1.9

- Updated Live Tile

App can be downloaded from the following link : MY ASEAN Holidays

Do leave any feedback on my thread here.

Good to see apps developer here, support. biggrin.gif

i waiting someone to open thread "930vs1520"

I prefer 1520 over some extra add on, however 'Living Image' which currently 930 exclusive is pretty nifty. laugh.gif

most of lumia 1520 owners are very happy and satisfied one smile.gif

They called it "no regret phone" in a forum, i can't remember which forum already. XD
*
Ya, maybe some minor flaws here and there at the time started using, but what the hell i can live with it happily.

One more thing makes me happy is the fact i can Twitch with it. tongue.gif

anyone of you encountered no-response upon clicking the tiles?

The screen can be woken up, but no response from the tiles upon clicking. sweat.gif

on and off i'll have this issue.. so far encountered twice.
*
This is some flaws example i means. I never had this problem, but sometimes my phone only started to charge after 3 minutes i plugged in charger. Sometimes my pc cant detect my phone but resolved with a restart.

Most stable? I wont call it that way, just fluidity all over OS i assume. smile.gif

Yeah Nokia Wireless charger is expensive. I'm using the stand one, pretty worth it for me lah, have been using it almost a year now. Yes charging is longer, almost 3 hours to fully charge the phone. I use it when I go to sleep, just put it on the stand, acts like a night clock also with glance screen  thumbup.gif

Hmm bro, how much u bought it for? Wanna use one for ease. smile.gif

RM309 if I'm not mistaken. But I used the RM50 preorder voucher from my Lumia 920 so ended up a little cheaper for me hehe.
*
Is it Nokia DT-910 Wireless Charger u mentioned? Tried on DT-900, dont seems to get it worked. hmm.gif

I have used so many type of phones and I would say none of them can match Nokia 1520 in sunlight ...the display is simply amazing n one can easily read without need to adjust any settings..I couldn't even believe it until today
ANYTIME of the day in sunlight it is simply amazingly gorgeous n clear
See the list of all the phones I have used to date to understand my comparison. This Nokia 1520 I highly recommend to those who often need to use phone under sunlight - no need to adjust or trying to cover up screen or find a place of lower n lesser brighter light
*
Yeah, easily the best display in terms of sunlight legibility. Nokia's adoption on Assertive Display tech is brilliant. biggrin.gif
