Hope the flagship use w10, without degrading what Lumia 1520 has... Well feel like crying, the day where innovation n improvement stop in term of Camera r&d.

i doubt that though. demo-ing the wp10 with lumia 1520 seems like they wont intro a new flagship so soon. plus the OS itself already running so well on it without any hardware upgrades(using the current highest spec for windows phone, 1520/930/M8). the only thing they need to upgrade would be the camera, bring back 1020 camera spec!

well could be possible also as they already made a few low & mid spec lumias with 'Microsoft' name infront

Well they did give us Lumia Camera 5, so still have camera software R&D hehe. But Lumia 1520 is actually a unique phone which sadly didn't sell well.

Microsoft already confirmed a flagship is only coming AFTER Windows 10 ships, which is Summer 2015. So I'm guessing July to August timeframe only. Also I doubt they will bring back 1020 camera spec. The idea is excellent but unfortunately not what the mass market wants. As have been shown by all other phone makers, ppl wants to be able to take pictures fast, with almost no delay to next shot, variable frame rate videos, on the fly filters & panoramas. Microsoft needs to get those basics covered well before thinking of putting more unique features else ppl will always complain. Now I love lossless zoom & Lumia Camera 5 so don't get me wrong, just that till today our beloved 1520 still can't do stuff like variable frame rate videos or even take good panoramas!!!

Anyway, the next W10 Technical Preview is coming this Saturday 1am MY time so get ready if you wanna try it

Sigh.. Sadly, the most important thing for me is slow-motion/high frame rate recording. Hahah would jump at the next flagship and marry it if it has 60fps or 240fps like iPhone 6+

Yours really sound like hardware prob. W10 won't help since it actually sucks battery more.

I'm not sure what the main root cause. Because when I charge the phone reach 100% in 20minutes from 30%. Several people have same problem by referring to link I post before. Seems like battery not calibrated properly.

Same battery many different price o.O. Later surf lelong. But hard to DYI right. Need to use hot airblower to remove adhesive behind the battery.

Yap that sounds like battery issue liau, not calibration prob. No OS update can help. Good luck with getting battery changed by yourself. Scary to me haha

Emmm.. Is It tonight w10 update for 1520? Anyway just sell it n get a second hand Lumia 1520. If lucky u might top up a little. I bought mine wth few months xtra warranty wth a Price of 850. After sold my Lumia 1020 hahahaha

Repaired laptop and some old phone by my self. Also have a air gun for repair my laptop 2 years ago.

Great phablet but over sensitive screen is driving me crazy. My 1020 is almost perfect except for slow camera. Now using 535 temporarily. Already tried all the solutions available online but no fix.

Cool! I used to repair laptops also years ago haha. Phones nowadays just too hard to fix without leaving tool marks for me hehe.

U mean 535 touch screen issues? I also using a 535 as 2nd phone. Have to say the touch screen issues r disappointing.

The technical preview is up liau now. They had some server errors till like 2am or something. So who's gonna install it? Hehe

Well the preview is still in alpha mode, lots of bugs and glitches... Some app like office cant be launch n some apps game need to be reinstall. Read at wpcentral, they got some pretty good advice to install or to stick with current firmware.
