I love all of those feature that Microsoft will provide to us. But still need file manager. Optional feature is background picture behind tiles. Windows 8 have those feature and looking beautiful why windows phone 8 cant have it! Sigh~~~ other than that i love the update.

windows 8.1 are from microsoft only (OS) and cyan update are from nokia (firmware update)

both is a must. but if you like to try the OS first you can install the preview then wait for the Nokia cyan. if you didnt want to try the developer preview, then you need to wait the official one (it comes with window 8.1 + nokia cyan)

wohoo! atlast got my cortana. by hard reset it. but there another way
Set your language and region and speech to us-english. Then go check the updates. There is one (it's the language update  ). Install it. Enjoy Cortana |
