QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jun 30 2014, 05:14 PM) true, but at least if worried about "warranty", buying from DirectD, easier to deal with. easier here is compared to having to ship it back to China. Let people untung sikit loo..They also take the risk to give you warranty. Ship back to China for warranty also expensive . |

Bad news for Oneplus sets, all the units I tested has yellow tint defect at Satu Gadget.. I suggest you guys check it out before buying. It's a manufacturer defect which can't be fixed. Have to give thumbs up for Satu Gadget to test all the units for me without paying first.

It's definitely glue, only the bottom part has it. I read that Oppo also has this problem. They are all pre installed with CM11s.

I don't see any yellow tint currently, but I haven't exactly been using apps that make it obvious to see. |

QUOTE(kels83 @ Jun 30 2014, 05:34 PM) Actually this is a problem already clarify by Oneplus right? yes, as i said above. there are many different reason for the yellow tint. first two (which is glue and the colour calibration), it can be easily 'fixed'. Oneplus one set flash with cm11s you have yellow tint and with ColorOS is work perfectly, you can google around for it. link the glue one... over time, it will go away. colour calibration, you can DIY. i think they mentioned something like under developer options or sth... but that other guy's problem... that one, not so sure what happened after that. QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jun 30 2014, 05:38 PM) if glue... actually it should go off after a while. honestly I already aware of this yellow tint issue, but then no big deal for me, just like I bought the ipad mini retina but... pity 1G. open all the sets for you... hahaha... i'm actually waiting for either one (1G or DD) to stock the 64GB. if its rm100 more, i don't mind paying that. but I think 64gb they will sell higher than 200 more. |
