Lumia beta camera takes less than 2 sec

they too hungry to push big ass sensor with not enough juice processor

too bad L1030 cancelled (wtf)

usually 3-4 secs for me, but i turned off Cortana

Dropped my phone from shoulder height yesterday. And starting to hear some unusual noice from the camera. Anyone can hear quirky sound when the shutter button is pressed and when the picture is finish processing? Its like the lens is moving back and forth. I'm not sure there's sound from this movement b4 the drop.

And the sound of a laptop cooler fans spinning when camera app is at launch. This one needs to stick the phone to the ears though.

Hope I'm just being paranoid.

When the camera starts, obviously one can hear the lens move to position it self. But should not during the saving of he file.

If you move the camera right beside your ears when the camera is in its launching state, do you hear sound like your laptop fans functioning? No effect to the image quality though.

how to reinstall nokia pro cam? just bougt the phone (used) but there is no nokia pro cam apps.

I hope there will be a new flagship and a worthy successor for the 1020..
If there isn't any, i'll be sure to keep this phone just to take some pictures during trips and stuff.
With the new Windows 10 announced and stuff, pretty sure it might happen soon.

For now i'm just hoping at least most of the new features coming on W10, will be on my 1020..

I dropped my phone yesterday and the screen was cracked, yet everything still functioning. I went to Nokia service centre and they cost me RM500++ for a screen replacement. Any other solution which is not so costly?

source the replacement screen elsewhere and instal DIY

Guys, I'm new to this phone..sorry for not following the thread..just want to ask on the internet..

I'm using celcom xpax, and subscribe to 4gb monthly internet..I've already replaced to a lte capable SIM card..set highest connection to lte, set access point to celcom 4g..but the highest band I saw on top left corner is just H+..internet is slow..

Can someone enlightened me if there's suppose an LTE sign there?

if your area supported 4G network ..it should come with LTE instead of H+ on top left of your phone

I work in ampang park kl, I have never seen it goes to lte..

I dont think it will display at LTE.

Suggest to download an app called "GSM Info"; that will show the current available network together with its speed and whats achievable.

this is from lumia 920 ..i believe it should be same for 1020 as well
