yes i from ipoh bro... dont worry bro installation is easy as the name implies drop in filter. just open those four screws at ur air box... take out the original and just drop in the filter... i already pm u and dont worry 140 incuding delivery...installation im sure u can do it urself...it is as easy as ABC.

Wah, your car has cruise control izzit... Thats a really handy feature while driving long-distance, at least u can set the speed to be ngam-ngam within the highway limit without having to worry about potential summons!

auto cruise is cool but now days got no place to use it...even highways are jamed....

Well, if u are the type who travels on the highways frequently (and whether from east-west or north-south, there are great highways all the way!), the autocruise is definitely very handy... Dunno whether Proton can have this installed on a standard Gen2 and if they can, it should be expensive ya...

i still wonder why cant they get it in a manual HL???

after installing the filter.. now i felt that my car needs extra grip on the brake now.. any1 can suggest wat i can do wif the braking system? i'm talking about the minimum cost to get g00d braking.. not reffering 2 cheap..

talking about braking. wanna give a mini review on my 2 week old bendix titanium.
braking feel is a bit better compared to stock. more positive but have to learn how to modulate coz it is only effective when it heats up a bit. so u got to really press the brake padel hard to get it working. other than that it is not too bad for its price.

cannot comment on brake dust coz i just washed the car 2 days ago... haha

the only bad thing is that it started making screetching noise. especially when on half pressure (slowing down) but it will not happen if u really brake hard.

so i guess it is semi performance type pad, but compared to bendix metal king gold on my waja, these are more forgiving in a sence that they do not bite as hard. i recomend it for someone who preferes comfort to performance, but for me, i think i will live with it till it finishes. heehee

BTW, this was tested with bendix dot5.1 brake fluid (and it is with ABS system)

my next mod (if got the $$) will be braided hoses.

bro there is a thread there under safety or something like that posted by ultraman... u can refer to that as the main discussing point is on how to improve the braking system on gen2.

so far i using bendix pads and bendix dot 5.1 fluid only, maybe braided hoses next
(wanted motul but then was in a hurry la, grab what i could)

btw, the braided hoses.. how much will it cost? what hoses r v currently using ah? ferodo seems 2 b well recomended in g2c.. any1 got the price for it?

braided hose by pro RS from Ros*d* is abt 230-240, APP will be ard 400 i guess.
normal hoses are rubber renforced hoses, with nylon threads in between. braided hoses are stainless stell braiding for the outer part and PTFE silicon for the inner part.

ferodo i was quoted 98 in jb, but dunno the same as what the guys at g2oc use, bendix titanium is 105 also in jb, prices for front, my rear still ok so didnt ask

u are driving auto?? i no money to 4 pot and and a double pump ler.. hehehe so use gear lor....... btw....... the snokel is recommended...... my car now smooth on gear shifting edi..... and when running at high speed.. wolla.. hehehe.... really recommended even quite expensive.. hehehehe the sound from induction may quite loud but never the less.... i love the sound now even more.. heehehhee i dunno how am i going to save ma petrol edi.. hahahahaha

and oh yah... about braided hose..... might wan that also... any in KL/PJ did that and how much???

yar.. i'm driving auto.. headache betul wif the braking system now.. my fren's manual gen2 i don find any problem wif it larhh but mine is like the car is not willing to stop.. (like wanna race )

actually i realise that i need 2 brake bcz of the thread started by ultraman..

not really unless u want to change from the ori dot4 to dot5.1. but u have to do bleeding when u change the hoses
