changing rims to a aftermarket ones do not void your overall warranty. but then, if a part e.g. bush, arb, suspension and any wheel related parts are faulty (either by coincidence or due to negligence of the installer), your warranty for these parts may have some problem. It then depends on how you talk ur way out for a free replacement/repair.

Setting up a car audio does risk voiding ur warranty as it's not only involves the interior of ur car but also electrical parts. A electrical short due to "wire testing" cud cause the ECU to go cranky and if this is discovered by the SC, then you can wave ur hard earned $$ bye bye.

There are million of ways where those blood-suckers to void your warranty but then, there's still parts and stuff you can replace and add on. It all depends on the installer, I would say. A lil' of luck and ur installer is good, you'll enjoying wat u've just got into your car. Or else, it wud be endless trips to the SC not forgetting those headaches and frustrations.

So pick ur installer wisely and cheap things ain't a good thing, sometime.

And its nice to hear that you're enjoying your Malaysian ride so far... I love this car for its superb acceleration and wonderful handling (the G2 cuts corners very well!) but as for the window, i get this weird windtunnel-like sound coming in, especially when driving long distance... Apparently the lady boss of my regular service center said that its a common occurence... Is that true?

I do agree that the basic setup of a replacement drop-in and the large snorkel is good. It certainly improve significantly, but areas to improves are still there.

Yeah, i have to agree... My Gen2's driver-side window went nuts due to a problem with the bracket... Had to send it over for a checkup and change the bracket, now the window is doing fine...

and yeah... i did my first mod edi 30 mins ago.. Zenden drop in air filter.. the car is smoother alot.. and i can feel the air sucking from the mouth even the car is idling.. 

i've been heaering a lot from this pipercross venom.. is it an open pod filter o wat ah?  n sounds like veli veli expensive 

Gen2 aircond systems got 2 companies which u are right... the first patco and the other is sanden..... both AC systems diffrent then each other. wonder why they take from 2 different companies??

guys next time the zenden filter can get from me... for performance u can ask mattchin but i cannot get as low as that lah... rm140 is a good deal bro... lowest i can get is 150 including delivery...
