sprit's 2nd gb allows you to choose to be full assembled or not.

if you are getting a full 87 setup, including assembly, it's about USD$300 with shipping.

So tempting...

I'm quite done with keycaps exploration, so I'm now on the journey of switches exploration now.

Tried Browns and Blues. Waiting for my blacks and Topre. What's next?

Once I tried them all... I shall be satisfied and start building my end-game solutions:

1. Topre board, TKL or fullsized.
2. Custom Ergonomic MX Cherry
3. Custom TKL MX Cherry

And that shall be all. Everything else will be sold and I'll retire from this forum except to warn people about the dangers and the cost

Prices are estimates, I think:
RM369 for Ducky Zero Shine.
RM220 for KBT Oni TKL (2nd hand) + Blue 37 keycaps.
RM120 for Banggood PBT white keycaps.
RM145 for Vortex Doubleshots.
RM 60 for 4 Black Dota keys
RM 15 for 1 White Dota key
RM260 for Filco MX Blues (2nd hand)
RM300 for Imsto keycaps
RM200 for SP grab bag. This one is best value IMO.
RM160 for SP DSA TKL keycaps
RM 40 for 4 SP novelty keys (G20 profile)
RM-269 sold Ducky Zero Shine.
RM750 for Realforce 104-keys
RM200 for Flashget G600 MX Black TKL
RM-30 for 2 novelty caps sold
RM390 for Raindrop R2

Total wasted spend: RM2,930

But I'm sure the other sifu will tell you that they have much more to get wink.gif

And all I've done so far is to reach the inevitable conclusion for my keycaps quest.

Now, onto trying all the switches.

Ergodox budget around USD 300 for whole set
Add about RM 300 for soldering tools.
Custom TKL budget around RM1,200
HHKB budget around USD 320 include shipping

Meanwhile, budget about RM 500 to test MX greens and MX reds.

Budget around RM 200+ for switches to test MX Vintage Blacks, and MX Ergo Clears, with the assumption that I won't keep it on the keyboards I will use.

So, about RM 4,300+ to go before I will stop.

Holy SHIT, Massdrop doing the ergodox drop again! FML!

Test Topre switch first, see if I like. HHKB usually going for USD 260. Assume it's USD 60 or so worse case shipping cost for budget purpose.

Btw, ergodox is ONS!

If you ok with hhkb layout, then it's ok. If not, then sticks with Realforce..
