My PSU is a 600 or 650 Cooler Master PSU.

My Budget is actually between RM 500 to RM 800.

Personally I prefer ATI, been using my ATI graphic cards for 4-5 years and no issue. My experience with Nvidia has not been good  so I want to stick with ATI.

So I guess I should for SAPPHIRE R9 270X or SAPPHIRE HD7870 since both of them in the same price range?

SAPPHIRE HD7790 or SAPPHIRE R9 260X  if I want to go for RM500 range?

Imo, below RM 800 you can get a nice Gainward GTX 760 Ref RM 789.
For ATI....hmm well a Sapphire R9 270X will do just fine I guess.

From your proc model, your psu served you for at least good 2 years? no? Anyway, you are right. For 800myr max budget, the best ATI card is r9  270x. But for a 500myr range ATI card, you should probably look at SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R7 265 2GB GDDR5 = RM575 (from lingloong).And may be spend the rest budget on new PSU? (if you wanna retire your current PSU). Try to take a look at anandtech bench section too. It helps in decision making as well
