just do custom decals, it is okay as long as you are not printing white cause you cant print it with 99% (exaggerated numbers I pulled from my ass >.<) of the commercial printers out there.
the color scheme reminds of the Honoo Wing Gundam (irc) |

QUOTE(D-y @ Jan 21 2016, 05:03 PM) QUOTE(Tsubasa66 @ Jan 21 2016, 10:22 PM) those diy decals largely available on taobao with around rm10 or slightly more (depends on shiping cost) per a4 size sheet inclusive shipping, there will beinkjet print type and laserjet print type, also from these 2 further separate into transparent background and white background the reason theres 2 background is because printer wont print white color, white background is cater to this need but it is quite troublesome when you tryin to accurately cut out your decal design shape to apply the flow of using these decals are simple: 1)design your decals using your own drawing software 2)print the design on top of a a4 size paper to test out your designed decals sizes 3)print on the glossy like side of your blank decal paper (its where your decals layer are) 4)spray 1 or 2 layer of top coat on it (air brush is recommended) and voila your custom decals! (but bare in mind that the decals when you apply is the whole piece meaning your need to cut out in proper shape) |

here is a guide. I also followed another guide but forgot the correct search parameters to have it be seen in google but the link below has covered the important points
http://otakuonabudget.blogspot.com/2014/05...ide-decals.html The article is from PH though and we can easily buy decal papers in our bookstore, I am sure you have some equivalent store there in MY. I dont do vectoring or imaging application, I just grab PNG pictures on the net and resize in Microsoft word (you can use excel, power point as well, as long as you are not making your own design), test print using normal papers and see if it is okay. Once I am done, I print using Decal paper (must use the correct paper type for the printer you use) then after it is dry, I put a layer of topcoat (5 to 6 mist spray using Bosny) I mainly use CLEAR decals since it is easy to apply, just cut round around the decals and apply, main dis-advantage is, it is not opaque and any WHITE color will be clear. White Paper decals can print opaque decals (meaning no color bleeding from the color of the plastic or paint) but you need to cut the decals exactly on the shape of the decals. I dont like the most 3rd party Decal products from samuel decals and taobao (basically source of samuel). Here is a sample from my work. ![]() DIY decals are the ff: Medusa skull (from one piece) NUNS logo below the canopy small skull logo behind |

I thought it was a good practice to shave pins for 3rd party or china kits, especially if you are painting it after.
