QUOTE(onnylam @ Aug 4 2015, 12:33 PM) Don't!!! I about to PM the seller liao the full built review is already up btw.. if you're not sold by then, something is wrong with you But I do agree, even though it's just an unboxing video, it's looks promising, with those undergated parts.... even if you're not a seed fan, this should tickle your fancy because 1. it's so chock full of accessories! 2. GOLDDD! 3. it looks really good, with 2 backpack options, not a bad value with all that details and design 4. GOLLLDDDDDDD, and not the fingerprint magnet kind too, muted but looks so good |

QUOTE(Godevil @ Aug 4 2015, 08:31 PM) wah... prime92 review so hyping... rare to see him praise so much for a bootleg... first of all... she I order from GundamMania in Facebook... I guess mid August only can receive... Thinking getting another 1 box as archive.. secondly, you can only bootleg something that has an original.. i don't see an original B* brand MG Akatsuki |

QUOTE(staticghost @ Aug 14 2015, 10:59 PM) I don't think a 1/35 or 1/24 kit needs a full metal frame. A few metal support parts would do to keep parts secure and in place. And you should remember that Daban listened to the feedbacks about the issue of the PG Strike Freedom so they made metal parts of those easy to break plastic parts that comes with the kit. These companies can simply make the plastic for the frame stronger and as for the armors, light, thin but not brittle would be nice. They are learning through feedback from the builders and as with DM, they don't simply copy everything from bandai kits now, they add resin-made-to-plastic parts for their kits to give a better design from what bandai offers. And if they are stepping-up their game by giving us better designs with only 1/3 of the price of a bandai kit, they can also try to produce kits in bigger scales by adding 2/3 more of the bandai kit's price. Again, if say, you are choosing a kit and there's a 1/35 Sazabi with tons of additional details made by tested companies like DM or Hobby Crazy or even Daban (if they actually decide to move away from bootlegging bandai kits) which costs 10,000 yen vs Bandai's MG Sazabi ver Ka which I think costs about 8,000 yen, what would you choose? which this point is rendered moot when you ask for 1/35 kits.. the price will be much more than mechanicore kits because We're not in the 90's anymore... everything is possible. If you're wondering I'm not mentioning companies like Mechanicore, well, it's just because their kits are so ridiculously expensive. You could say that it's because they are producing their own original kits with lights and photo-etch parts but still, they are asking too much for their kits unless they are actually paying rights to bandai for using the designs of the kits they make which I doubt. And it won't be too long before one of the other chinese companies makes bootleg versions of their kits to be sold cheaply. 1. more plastic = more cost 2. bigger molding = bigger machines to mold the parts = guess what, more cost! 3. large parts... large box... larger shipping.... cost! 4. it doesn't have to be full metal frame, of course, but it needs to have a certain amount of die-cast/metal to be able to say, hold up a massive 1/35 scale beam rifle as well as hold up the arm.. the shoulder and elbow needs to be reinforced and guess what that will do? more cost! 5. metal = heavy = shipping cost goes up up up still think it'll be cheap? think again.. larger will always incur more cost.. for example, if a shipping container can carry 100 1/100s, it can only carry maybe 20 1/35s, so with the same shipping cost, divide it by 100 and then by 20, you can see the difference in cost and that's BEFORE counting the engineering and manufacturing process needed to go in so that what you get as the end product isn't a floppy piece of sh*t |

it is the day of the Destiny.. and i must say i LOVE this kit, very interesting construction on the torso, not the conventional ball join we are all used to
the colored runners also have a sort of powder coated look to it, you can only see it in person, i think, since i dont remember seeing them in pictures.. but it looks very good, i think a gloss coat over will make it look really good going to stop at here for now, plenty of work to do but i look forward to building more tomorrow seeing the v-fin now makes me want to gold coat it for a more "premium" feel This post has been edited by HxiiiK: Jan 10 2016, 10:31 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Jan 17 2016, 06:35 PM) MBSF doesn't look as menacing as the MBD, but I still bought it because it's damn classy. Design wise not so different than RGSF, which is much more detailed than PGSF. MBSF looks WAY better than RGSF.. don't even talk about PGSF, that thing is a cashgrab but MBSF is classy as hell, especially the combined rifles, damn.. the whole look of it is just amazing, very defined angles and separation as compared to the older very rounded edges for the old kits.. i would love to have a kit of the MB one |
