QUOTE(soulfly @ May 18 2007, 05:07 PM) that very depends on your ram characteristics and its running speed/timing combo etc. the value can be either higher or lower to get it stable. pretty random among different chips. I am using 4 x 512 Mb ram, does increase the drive strength to level 2 or 3 helps overclocking further? -pWs-

QUOTE(guckks @ May 19 2007, 01:25 AM) where can i find the update bios foe m59sli-s5 Added on May 19, 2007, 1:27 am1 more thing, if the board said supprt 800mhz for the ram can i use 1066 one Yea.. As TerryZeroX said, u can get the bios at Giga website. But beware that you know what Flash is... For the ram frequency, u only can use 800Mhz divider and oc to 1066Mhz. So that is meant u can achieve 1066Mhz by overclocking but not default speed -pWs-

@sempronic If i am not mistaken, brisbane 4000 din clock well if compared to 3600. I only found one review overclocking brisbane 4000 and the result is not impressive. http://www.amdzone.com/modules.php?op=modl...rtid=283&page=1-pWs-

QUOTE(mattchin @ May 21 2007, 02:48 AM) another brisbane user here... paired wif asus m2a-vm n corsair value ram ermm... any sifus here can help me wif OC? i'm havin trouble wif OCing wif my mobo.. i can't go anywhere further wif setting above 210mhz of CPU frequency.. if i put it more than that, the system won't start.. it will b blank.. Is it ur ram plug in in the 1st slot near to cpu? It is impossible for a brisbane to clock so low. Brisbane default vcore can clock quite high already. Try to lower down ur ram divider if still experience problems, htlink multi as well. -pWs-

QUOTE(lohwenli @ May 26 2007, 08:53 AM) I've got to admit, though the percentage increase is fantastic, the actual clockspeed isn't. But I think its because the motherboard is limiting the overclock, must be running almost 390HTT by then. I think my board should be able to handle such high HTT. But i not a hardcore overclocker. Wan to ask if we get "Illegal Sumout" from orthos, is it meant by the setting is unstable?? -pWs-This post has been edited by -pWs-: May 26 2007, 09:41 PM

QUOTE(soulfly @ May 27 2007, 12:51 PM) it could be a 'reserved' value QUOTE(kalakatu @ May 27 2007, 01:07 PM) excuse me, but what is the meaning of 'reserved' value ? Yea. What is reserved value btw?? QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ May 27 2007, 01:46 PM) The list is only for CPU-Z verified. It never say it's orthos stable. You are right. BUt 3.6GHz still manage to boot in window. I think he pump a lot of vcore in O_o -pWs-

QUOTE(duarnt @ May 30 2007, 11:07 PM) i dont owned brisbane but the temp look to good to be true Brisbane's DTS spoiled already as claimed by AMD. Therefore, the core temp which is shown in the CoreTemp is no long correct Added on May 30, 2007, 11:55 pmQUOTE(mfa333 @ May 30 2007, 11:52 PM) i'm new on dual core... can i know which temp should i look for and what value is good on idle, full load and max temp(for oc+full load)? For Brisbane, the only temperature you can rely on is ur CPU Temp. But that reading is not the hottest temp as CoreTemp. -pWs-This post has been edited by -pWs-: May 30 2007, 11:55 PM
