Tried....but no major improvements...maybe our car is still new...
the noticeable changes are....rpm become very stable when idle...and the speaker does sounds better...

aircond colder maybe?? hmm...i always think the aircond is damn kuat even it is above 25 degree...

anyway it is also said that bettery could last longer...but...cannot tell now...as my car is only 5 mths old~~

Between high-spec Preve Turbo and low-spec Preve, definitely take the Turbo. No offense to others. The Preve Turbo will render the low-spec Preve to be less enjoyable with lower levels of drivability. The additional RM10k premium of the high-spec Turbo over the low-spec model warrants justice. You just get a much more vehicle apart from the added Turbo power that makes all the difference, apart from the additional features.

Just last weekend I was in a car accessories shop to change a fused light bulb and there was this owner of the low-spec Preve. He mentioned he regretted getting the low-spec model. He cited the lethargic acceleration that is almost similar to his other car, the Nissan Almera.

Frankly speaking, in the Preve TURBO, you are getting a powerful car at just RM70k. There is nothing out there up to RM100k that can beat it in terms of accelerating power. Once you have driven a powerful car, it is difficult to go back to a less powerful "under-powered" car.

Haha.. All I can say is, there are few ways that can reduce the CVT whine to minimal, almost unnoticeable level.

The CVT whine intrusion into my cabin area is now only like 20-30% from the original 100% 'cvt whine' sound level.

David, this isn't directed at you.. But i can't help but notice that most rejection and criticism here of the Exec/IAFM+ come mostly from people who do own an Exec model.

I think he meant ppl that own exec spec are openly "regretting" their purchase mainly due to lack of power, those on cfe got nothing to regret (yet)

I sat my friends first batch preve AT exec, heard very big noise sound.. Not sure is engine or wind.. Car is stable but just sound.. I heard new version Ancap 2014 got improve in those problem.. It isn't? Need some advise from current users?

I just did mine last month at Coe for RM 440. Chose fully synthetic...so a bit exp then the semi syn one!

If you can fork out extra for Premium then don't take exec... since u dislike noise, you won't like the whining in the exec model.

and even Premium 2014 stock has good offer now

not saying honda or toyota not good.. they are quite expert in this industry ady.. every people measurement of things are different. so just follow our own measurement and choose the one suits us.. cause money is ours. plan and use it without regret.
i will use highway almost everyday.. each day possible 60+~70+ km.. im stay penang.. go island work.. using second bridge or 1st bridge.. coz working hour flexible, i can work at 9am or above.. anytime is ok.. so mostly i can drive 110km/h.. no jam.. only the time back will got jam sometime.. but not everyday for my case.. currently rm50~70 per week petrol.. toll rm40~50 per week..

with new car, if 1.6L, i think petrol around the above right now or better is around the same.. coz highway all the time.. my house go toll entry 2km.. company from toll 2km.. i can say hardly to jam for me unless on bridge.. so petrol will much save than normal usage..
i feel everything need step by step la. everyone family background different.. in your friends case, (assuming) he can afford accord mean not a simple person ady.. but depend on his age.. if around 35~40 i think ok.. if around 25~28, i feel too young.. but he is doing sales, always need be confident and show his capable.. for me, no need go to maximum loan that we can.. distribute to each partition of expenses.. my planning is 24th years old buy car, 25th,26th buy house. Actually having a preve for a fresh graduate already quite good. RM 70k+ car which is a C-segment with turbo engines. That is already better than most fresh graduate cars. Excluded those who went for Vios/City and indebted with huge sum of debts.

Nope, I dont. I know some of them and nowadays its really hard to earn good money, moreover in the cities like KL and JB. So I pity them who earn enough income monthly to pay large sum of it for car loan.

Which is why i knew i can't afford even an executive Preve.      That itself will cost me RM 600+ permonth and + petrol and maintenance fees. I will die.

I just now test drive suprima s with my mother, the performance top class, i can say this car can tapau any average car, just want to ask, how to reduce the noisy engine? Since that the only thing that wont impress my mother to buy ipreve for me. My mother really picky one. She owned merc, camry 2011, and new 2014vios. The cfe engine not that quite.

I'm thinking to buy Preve at the end of this year. Now, my ride is 5 years old Waja CPS. With waja, my feeling was mixed. Sometimes, this car can give a smooth and steady power, sometimes not. I'm not sure why this happened. And just reached 40K mileage now, my car had a lot of rattling sound. This is make me a little bit down.

I'm still worry if proton still has a problem like my waja cps. I understand not all the car  free a problem. but I really hope I can get a car without rattling sound, smooth power delivery and good NVH in it class.

guys im currently into preve exec after long survey..just married and looking for a decent family car before this only use kelisa..is it preve a good decision?..why thus in mudah so many people selling their preve and most of them are year 2012 and still under warranty?..should i just the used one or new one?
