saw someone sell mediapad x1 in lelong, any review?

Saw and played with this baby during the Huawei event today. Approx 30 people attended. Met uncle Benny and a couple of other mods.

OMG it's a really sexy piece of kit. It could even fit in my shirt breast pocket !!!

The screen is fantastic, performance is smooth, and Asphalt 8 was nicely playable. Expected availability in July.

Love its nice tactile back panel, and totally flat surfaces both front and back. Everyone present was playing with it.

I'm sorely tempted to get this now.

And Huawei has a really nice line up coming this year.

I didn't visit any HTML5 sites.

Screen colour accuracy. Bottom 3 phones from left to right, NOTE 3 (professional photo screen mode) you can see has a tinge of orange, the Xperia Z, which has a strong blue tint, Huawei 3C, huawei's "unannounced" phone, probably around RM300-700 with insane colour accuracy. The screen is the same screen being used by the iphone. The largest device screen is huawei's also unannounced Mediapad, again, great colours.

read somewhere that mediapad honor x1 (which has been released in china) didn't have LTE, so anyone play with the new unannounced mediapad in the event just now to verify this?

any idea how much does it cost ya?

The demo unit at the event had no SIM but we were told that it is an LTE unit. No pricing announced. I guess stay tuned for the July launch.

The marketing manager said LTE units will be brought in n his demo unit is LTE
32gb version is another possibility
Pricing hoping is rm1,5k maximum which is possible as 3g if you import in now rm1.1-1.2k

Coolpad 9976A did threaten Huawei Honor X1 sales.

this devide is so tempting...reminds me of my Galaxy Tab 7 P1000...an all in 1 device, but almost half the weight and almost half the thickness
