Only wcdma version is available in china now under branding honor x1, which cost 1800 yuan. LTE version is schedule to be available earliest by April, for price of 2000 yuan. If under huawei branding, price should be higher for the default LTE mediapad x1.

Nice one and I'm keeping an eye out for this.

BTW, TS, it's "slimmest", not "slimmer"

I wonder how it SoC compared to others. Considering this and N7 2013 for my next tablet.

The SoC will likely be comparable to an S600 I guess. There's a Kirin 920 that can handle 4K recording. This is the 910, that doesn't have it.

Oh well....since "Slimmest" is already superlative, there isn't a need for "Most" either.

The correct sentence is "The Slimmest....."

Back to topic before mods warn me, if this comes over at an affordable price, it will be a good consideration since it will be much cheaper than an equivalently specced Samsung. The build materials are also very nice in the tradition of the first Mediapad.

Most of the phones can't be used with one hand. Eventhough smaller phones like 4inch iPhones can be used, still it is more practical to use 2 hands ie. one to hold one to activate.

Interested to compare this with Sony Z Ultra, if it can match in terms of practicality, it will be my replacement all in one phone.

I look at the size comparison..standing between one max and oppo n1 media pad x1 just a slightly bigger..probably almost at the same size with ultra z..since I used to have z ultra before,it think I can manage something similar to it like mediapad x1..cant wait..hopefully tje price under rm1.5k..

Best get the dimensional value and draw it out on the paper and put your current phone on top of it to compare. My 6 inch thl t200c looks so small when put next to my fonepad 7

I did that already n is only marginally bigger than XZU...pocketability is not an issue for me as even tab 7.7 can go comfortably in my side pockets of both my baggy shorts n pants
