Win 8.1, everything installed by Illegear.


Just turned the laptop off this morning, then just restarted the laptop, and it now keeps saying "wrong fingerprint". Will observe more. I checked "hardware properties" and it says 'no problem'. Problem only started recently, like 1-2 days ago, but I thought its just normal (because the fingerprint sensor sometimes won't register fingerprint)

If you want to upgrade your RS 15 to gtx970m or gtx980m, make sure you got the firmware and BIOS update available. If not even though you plugged it in, it won't detect it

What are the differences of Z5 and Q5 since they are the same price?

The design, obviously. Z5 is for people who fancy its bling bling outlook while q5 is for people who wants low profile look.

what about in terms of spec?

Q5 is more professional, Z5 is more fancy.

Spec wise: Z5 > Q5. Z5 has bigger 8-cell battery, subwoofer, 4GB 960M VRAM, IPS screen and Intel 7260-AC WLAN card by default.

But note the Q5 has 1x M.2 PCIe SSD slot and DVD rom which is crucial for professionals.

Hmm, Z5 looks fancy yet its spec is better than Q5 in a way yet both of them same price.
Z5 bang for buck?

Although Q5 have M.2 PCIe SSD slot, but it doesnt have any M.2 SSD.
The DVD rom doesnt cost much.

and... Z5 have 4GB graphic but Q5 have only 2GB. IPS screen is fun to have. Which have better wireless card? Z5 or Q5?

I still thinking Z5 is bang for buck. But I want Q5 to keep mine low profile.

The Q5 uses M.2 7265-AC wireless card.

DVD rom costs very much FYI.
