QUOTE(evofantasy @ Apr 3 2015, 06:46 PM) well the Z5 is bigger and the look isn't suitable for the professional look. shall recommend if any1 is looking for small profile laptops. Yea. Z5 looks is really quite high profile. Will make a lot of unnecessary eye catching event I encountered it a lot. When there is theft, your laptop will be the first target. But actually it is not as big as you imagined. It is thinner and smaller than the RS series but still get better cooling though. As Prince J mentioned. It is just slightly thicker than S5. I went to their showroom and compare before. S5 is more suitable for professional look though, at least from a business man perspective

QUOTE(evofantasy @ Apr 3 2015, 07:59 PM) i have seen the z5 before, i recommended it to my student and he brought it to class. generally, ppl who are alright with 15" wont find it big but most people (those in my class at least) generally use smaller laptops around 13-14" being on the go (most using Macs). the Q3 seems to hit a really sweet spot here. ps: personally, i did not like the Z5 design especially the internal color scheme I'm with you in this one. I'm not the type to like the design like Z5 especially the internal color scheme. But not until the extend I hate it. S5 or those business looking laptop suits me better I think.

QUOTE(evofantasy @ Apr 3 2015, 08:09 PM) then again, you could customize outlook your Z5 to what you want (which is what I would do personally) which is imho one thing any illegear buyers should consider as a perk of a custom laptop The skeleton is still the same design though. IIRC, during the time I purchase my Z5, there is no option to do custom painting to it yet. I think there is none also currently. They only provide custom painting to Clevo model only I believe. The custom painting doesn't come cheap though

QUOTE(hyperyouth_firepower @ Apr 8 2015, 12:37 AM) not sure if this is the place to ask; has anyone used "Rainmeter" on their Illegear machines? I think Rainmeter is just a normal software which change your "theme". I works on almost all windows OS. But just don't try to mess up with the registry if you're not sure about what to do.

QUOTE(hahachem @ Apr 10 2015, 08:42 PM) Anyone interested to buy GTX 780M 4GB card? planning to upgrade my RS-15 If you want to upgrade your RS 15 to gtx970m or gtx980m, make sure you got the firmware and BIOS update available. If not even though you plugged it in, it won't detect it

QUOTE(hyperyouth_firepower @ Apr 17 2015, 09:13 PM) I probably think windows update again broke it and fixed it. Just saw that there were I think 3 updates done in this week alone, and its the same files. So I suppose its Windows' own fault. Typical Windows Update hahaha

QUOTE(hyperyouth_firepower @ Apr 24 2015, 11:05 PM) walawe... less than 70c on furmark for D series. Dayum, should have really waited instead of pulling the trigger on the RS-15. Lol. Nvm lar.. At least your laptop got Optimus ma.. Not so power consuming than D5. But that temperature of gtx980m furmark test is really too insane <70 degree. I believe it is the best cooling laptop in ILLEGEAR now

QUOTE(Azusa_San @ May 22 2015, 08:49 PM) is illegear ru-14 pro considered as ultrabook? how is the battery life? What is your usage first ? If you're looking for normal usage, there is not much choice except RU-14. Other model all comes with dgpu and quad core processor. Battery life wise, the most it can last for ILLEGEAR laptop is 6hours+- if I'm not mistaken. If you want long lasting battery (8hours+), you should look for other ultrabook. ILLEGEAR S and Q series provides 20mm+- thickness laptop. You can have a look at it
