I have a genuine question (since this is a thread for all Illegear users anyway)
Do you folks use any cloth / fabric in between the screen and the keyboard? I know Illegear laptops don't come with anything with default (I clean the screen because of the lines that appears often after closing the lid)
Any users want to kindly share?

I rarely close my laptop screen so I don't know that much about this. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

the lines is probably because of dust, but i still wipe it biggrin.gif (and it reappears after few days. I open and close the laptop alot, so probably that's why also.

Hi guys, need some advice here:

I need a laptop that can play GW2 and Planetside 2 and has a good screen that will allow me to process my images (I sold my MBA precisely because I couldn't get much detail out of the screen) as well as be portable enough to be lugged around to uni and into libraries.

I'm interested in the RE-13 Pro, anyone have any reviews on it?(especially battery life while not gaming)

Should I get it with the CNY promo? Or possibly wait longer until the 960m version is out?

Also, is the 72% color gamut going to be enough for image processing? I am by no means a professional though.

Dear decky,

RE-13 PRO battery life is about 3 to 3.5 hours in normal surfing mode.

And yeah the GTX 860M can play GW2 and Planetside 2 smoothly.

72% NTSC is enough, please note macbook pro retina display is also NTSC 72% gamut.

Thanks for the prompt reply!

Do clevo models vary in terms of battery performance? According to some reviews, the battery life on normal use was about 5 hours.

I would go for a 15 inch model at this point if the battery life of the 13 isn't that great.

Hi Decky,

Only ILLEGEAR RU-14 PRO (Clevo W740SU) has 5 to 6 hour battery life. Other clevo models in our store cannot.

Our Z5 (15.6") has about 4 hour battery life with 8-cell battery, you can consider this model smile.gif

Yes power adapter side no problem. It's sufficient.
