Bulk order gajah trunk gang to take note. Allow me time to get the elephant trunk, the supplier that originally posted good price for me skru me up, now tell me no stock. I'm in the midst of sourcing other supplier to further negotiate a better deal. Rest assured, if the price doesn't meet our target I will not buy from them.

Cheers & hepi holidei

hello guys. im new here. using 2008 savvy high line silver colour. no mods yet except small stuff e.g close pod, voltage stabilizer and a bit of grounding, 4 point strut bar. no plan to make any big mod soon.

got few questions
1) any of you used Techron Concentrate Plus (TCP) fuel cleaner? any performance or fuel consumption difference? (anyway TCP is on promo now at rm35 instead of normal price rm45, promo till end of august)
2) what is the difference between fuel cleaner and decarbonizer? i think fuel cleaner cleans the fuel system (fuel clogs for example) from tank all the way to the injection but decarbonizer cleans carbon deposit from intake to combustion chambers including valves. please clarify this.
3) i've used decarbonizer about 20k km ago, is it okay to use TCP now? afraid of gasket leak or something in the engine.
4) better to use TCP before or after oil change? planning to use syntium full synthetic after raya.

thanks for the reply(ies).

Sifus, has anyone adjusted the OEM headlamp height and side-to-side? It lacks an adjuster knob from my experience in Hondas.

I find Savvy's headlamp too high and wide that it's annoying others on the road. When I turn on my high-beam, it shines the moon instead of the road.

1) Have not use before. Basically Techron is a fuel additive that helps to keep clean burning environment, given correct ignition timing and right amount of air/fuel ratio, hence keeping your combustion chamber from deposits formation.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Techron
http://www.techron.com/what-does-it-do/default.aspx#
Internet information mostly are free to obtain. Gunalah Google, jgn tak guna nod.gif
2) Decarbonize means to blast off the deposited carbon in the engine. Techron is NOT A FUEL CLEANER, it helps to keep your combustion at optimum cleanliness. Change of fuel filter in a regular manner is more feasible in my opinion, rather than keep pouring additive in the hope the fuel system become clean.
3) Basically, Techron changes the fuel characteristics by molecule. So, it doesn't harm your car given the correct mixture is properly measured. If you're scared of gasket leak, why not start with CALTEX petrol
4) Doesn't really matter when you change your engine oil. As long your fuel tank is close to depletion, drive to your nearby petrol station, pour in the TCP and fill up petrol to the brim and start driving.

Trust me, you will feel absolutely nothing after spent on the TCP, however if your butt is sensitive, you will feel a very smooth pickup, feels more powerful, feel more torque and probably save some 10~20km/tank of petrol

Remember someone posted got marginal adjustable angle for the headlamps, that however doesn't change it's shining the tree or highbeam the moon character due to limited angle. Got mine fixed in an exiden, a bloody MyBi reverse until knock on my left side. After I inspected both car got no problem, snap foto of the MyBi kamout from paking lot and my angle of kena bang, make sure everything is in place then proceed to lipot polis as settle luar. Told the aunty do the same or she'll kena saman. So, thought of everything settle. Night time hor, suddenly notice my left side not so bright, not shining the three anymore. The next day open hood, take out headlamp inspection baru realized the back support sudah patah sweat.gif Now pending mematah back support for driver side headlamp laugh.gif

true on caltex having techron additive but with low concentration of course, that is what caltex malaysia has been marketing since forever. i used to use caltex and i admit it gives slightly more performance with no compromise on fuel consumption. but i switched to primax because, lets just say it gives me more benefits.
