the throttle pedal adjustment i can say its permanent but we can adjust it back to the older less responsive pedal coz its been adjust by screw & screwdriver not digitally adjust. its a physical thing, try it & u will love savvy more. plus, its useful for us to get out of simpang in a heavy traffic condition.
btw, tips from osman baba on cleaning tb. turn the key to on until all the light on meter come out, dont turn on the engine. put bata or anything heavy on the throttle pedal & automatically the tb will open. then, we r free to cuci the tb.

QUOTE(FlamingFox @ Aug 1 2015, 03:12 AM)
Why got like conflicting answers wan about the throttle adjustment thingy? I might want to try with Osman Baba, but so you have his number or opening hours of the shop?
*
There are not conflict at all. I was saying, the PDT resetting position sensor alignment will happen again. The term ALIGNMENT came because there are movement on the throttlebody, ofcourse over the long run it MAY misaligned again. So, ask yourself, do you do 1 time wheel alignment and the tire will last you life long? No right?

The 1 aeppy was mentioning is the gas pedal adjustment. 1 can even DIY to adjust the sensitivity. Yes that SHOULD be permanent because the electronics need manual intervention unless it goes rosaked. 2 of my GaGa friend already DIY adjusted their pedal nod.gif

Does he have a workshop?

I know. I'm just saying, if changed ady don't ask. If I say yes its cheap, will make u feel better, then I will tell u ok u got yourself a good deal. nod.gif

No he's a part supplier. He doesn't own a shop. If u must get those things fixed at shop, Renautech charge RM250 for the speed sensor. Oil sensor RM150 also if not mistaken.

There's list of workshop/mechanics/specialist at 1st page. U may find them out & give a call to quote for latest pricing.

Alright,thnks bro smile.gif

Ok U win. Ur tayar 550 x 4 pieces veli the cheap. Mine 1 piece also 500 ady yawn.gif

The speed sensor Renautech using is original Renault. However, I'd opt for cheaper solution as the 1 I got from supplier is only RM80. I can afford to rosak 3 times in exchange to 1 from Renault ori. U decide lar, it's a very simple procedure to DIY change the damn sensor if you wish to.

nice pic there david, this pedal is quite sensitive coz got another level where we can remove a spring inside & make the pedal really soft but i dare not to try. enuf with the pedal adjustment la thumbup.gif
*
Speaking of making the pedal soft, is there anyway can we make it HARDER? hmm.gif I don't know about you guys, I always doesn't like electronics as I'm so used to mechanical feelings. Pressing on a potention meter is seriously dumb in my opinion. I rather retard the damn pedal to make it feel more like an old school carburetor kinda feeling.

Can anyone recommend a good cheap second hand 14 inch rim with tyre (good cornering + wet condition + comfort silent type). Right now using 15 inch too lebar and ride so keras.
*
Got such combination? My 165/55R14 ATR K-Sport so damn superb dry grip, but wet condition the car floating like sampan. Road noise is like army truck laugh.gif Tayar wear very high. At 1 year, 2 already gone changed 2 new. Another 2 almost gone now, and expect the other 2 will only last another 6 months. In short, 18 months 6 tayars doh.gif

My 165/55R15 ATR K-economist, average grip, but very acceptable wet grip in my opinion. Road noise minimal, tyre wear also minimal.

Do I looked like I even give a damn about comfortness when I'm with that 165/55R14 ATR K-sport? whistling.gif Infact, my tayar pressure is always at 36PSi, the rear running with a set of full scale anti roll bar. The back is currently on Plotong GaGa BLM springs.

However though, a slightly more comfortable tayar is ATR K-economist if you're willing to put down your ego for 165 series. You may read abam NOX review below:

downgrade from 15" to 14" with noticeable lots of positive effect to me.. pickup better, and can feel car become agile because of small thread on the donuts. easier to sway left right. negative only one so far. look small.
Bought Achilles ATR-K Economist 165/55/14 and swap my 15" taiwan bengkok teruk rim with a set of original Mitsubishi Mirage 14" rim.  Rim width is only 4.5jj hence 165 tyre use. haha. small yet superb grip on this indonesia make tyre.

Review of tyre :
value for money at 125RM per piece (special thanks to nestum for special price).
speed tested up til 165kmh(plus highway, got car infront so max at 165kmh only).
cornering tested up to 120kmh at exit nilai big corner til traffic light.
yet tested on rain. but looks of the tread pattern is for swimming champion.

*Big thanks to david for his advice on upgrade (downgrade size). Really racun'ed after ride his Achilles ATR-K Sport tyre abilities. as he mention, plan to grab yoko blue earth at first but at the last minute lorry came and grab the Achilles cause of price and excellent rating (traction AA, treadware 400, physical rubber feel = semislick, nice pattern).

Here some pic.

Conclusion. No rubbing at all 4 side, my problem with big tyre solved (ya i know some will say why no stick with 175, you should know in malaysia we can only have 3 tyre brand to choose for this size). cheap and good performance tyre. lightweight rim. = good FC (I HOPE).
rm50 worth of petrol can get me around 300km. thats 24liter petrol. [imma heavy footer - always rev to 5-6k rpm plus big big size fellow].

add on :

U were just saying need to stay away from tayar Cina, but then you mentioned Rovelo pulak blink.gif They're the sister brand of SAILUN from Cina. Fairly good review over the internet for the price budget, in terms of grip/noise is fairly acceptable. However though, as you mentioned Cina tayar got problem with thread wear. It could be written as 400 tw, but ended up 3 bulan sudah habish bunga.

QUOTE(croomaniac @ Aug 6 2015, 11:06 AM)
Hey guys

My car has been stranded for 2 years, i think exceeded 2 years already.. AMT. It started when i need to change the clutch plate. The mechanic said that since you want to change the clutch plate, i just checked that the clutch pump need to be changed as well.. so, when lifting the engine, best if you can change both so that the labour fee is minimal..

So, since i 'turst' this guy, i let him do it lah. He said will be ok tomorrow. So, left the car, the come back tomorow to pick..

But it went from bad to worse..

Everytime the car is in D position, when you release the brake, the car will die.. EVERYTIME.. both D & R.. anyway, long story short, i took the car, when the car is 'alive' (read: can move forward without dying) i straight away return home. Dont tell me how much damage it had done to me (i mean the mechanic tapau my money). Yada yada 2 years now, the car is still stalled.. just tried to turn it on that day, it still can be turned on (i mean the engine running, the engine oil is still there) but the battery is dead though (duh). The road tax and insurance need to be renewed.

Now, the question is that, anyone of you know one place where the mechanic can repair my amt and bring it to its glory again?

P/S: don't suggest me the mechanic somewhere in klang because that is the place where all of these mess started. Thanks guys!

If u can reach me, F O C for diagnostic. Suspect totobodi KO/fuel injector sumbat/fuel filter sumbat.

Totobodi - if serviceable RM70. If need replacement, kedai potong RM250. New(probably recond) RM500
Fuel injectors - Sonic wave vibration cleaning RM80. Change injektor, RM120/piece
Fuel filter - RM28 saja

Please also tell me if there's any indicator lite being triggered on your meter cluster. And, if rotex expire more then 365 days, your car need to send in puspakom inspeksen before reviving your insurans + rotex. For insurans, u may find Mahihi to do it, but that will be AFTER your puspakom inspeksen lulus. If not, don't waste money.

p/s: Klang got 2 magician as Shawie specialist. The 1 without proper shop, bawah pokok is who we trusted much and he's Malay. Is he the 1?

p/s2: No I can't do the repair anymore as I don't have a shop. I can help you assess some minor thing if not involved heavy machinery. But generally F O C. If you're happy, buy me teh tarik ayam hepi liao laugh.gif

what flywheel issue? want to try gaga blm absorber also but standard one. just the front need to swap left right ya?
btw, combine with savvy ori spring is ok ka?
*
U may put stock spring with BLM/FL stock damper, but the price is very expansive for GaGa stock damper. I would suggest u go for APM GaGa. Front is about 130/pc, whereas back is 80/pc. My Shawie entire backside already GaGa wub.gif Spring/abs/spindle/brake hub/bearing/brake cylinder. No doubt, it's slightly heavier when those stuff put on a weighing scale, but it's unsprung weight(anything below the SPRING), so it doesn't actually affect much on the drive feeling other then handling wub.gif Handling wise, to be frank with you, Shawie original design is already the best. After the upgrades, certain condition of driving has been compromised. For example, when you trying to attack high speed corner at 120~130, if there are slight uneven on the road, the car will bump up and for inexperienced driver could end up tragically. However, the plus side for this upgrade is, it changes the characteristic of the rear end of the rear end of the car when entering corner. It went from UNDERSTEER to PUSHED UNDERSTEER. For the same amount of effort you put in the steering work on the same corner at the same speed(compare to stock and after the upgrades), you'll get a faster turn in response, and possibly higher speed if your tyre permits. And, as usual every UP will have DOWN side. Noobs that trying too hard may scrape their side skirt/side seals when entering corner at traffic light junction as low speed turning, the character of the car will changed from UNDERSTEER become OVERSTEER. In other word, lagi laju lagi sedap.

p/s: GaGa rear spring is only RM40/pc laugh.gif I can't think of a reason why not? Already bought the chicken, no point saving for soya sauce to make it even nicer icon_idea.gif

p/s2: FLY WHEEL means, tayar tercabut & terbang akibat bearing picah

Start already die down?

Further detail is required for ONLINE troubleshooting. Best if you can record the sound and share it here so we can help to diagnose. Besides, did u call back RT to ask for opinion since your car just came out from there?

Another thing is, new sparkplug may not gap to fit your current engine condition. Sometimes it takes up to 10k km before it runs into condition.
