These few days was losing coolant pretty quickly, and also notice water dripped out near the drive side of the car at the engine area. Particularly dripped down from crankshaft pulley. I certainly know there isn't any water supposed to came out from crankshaft, so I already suspect water pump will be the culprit. Didn't think much immediately I proceed to sparepart shop look for 1. Price range between 260 ~ 480. After many hours of searching and calling, finally got 1 reasonably cheap Taiwan stock, my regular sparepart shop in KL asking for RM150. I was happily getting myself ready to drive back to KL and buy it. On the way there, magician called, the story as below:
Ring.. Me: Elo ah hia, an jua? uh boh wa eh sawi water pam? Magician: Si liao lar ah hia. Wa meng sepepatsiop ka liao, ji ba si jap koh ar. Jia gui lor Me: Har?! Ji ba si jap koh ar?! Aih... an jua hor? Boh ban huat lor, pai ki liao an jua? Ai jor gui pon si ai jor liao lar Magician: Hmm anikuan ho lar. Wa giu ee lang gia lai, lu mia zai lai jor lar Translated: Ring.. Me: Elo brader, how? Got anot my sawi water pam? Magician: Die lah. I asked all sepepatsiop, 140 ar. Very expansive lor Me: Har?! 140 ar? Aih... how? No choice lor, rosak ady how? If need do expansive also have to do lar Magician: Hmm like that ok lar. I ask them bring over, lu tomolo come do lar Immediately change direction didn't go back KL take stock. Wasn't expect he can get even cheaper. So ok lar, was about to postpone it until next timing belt change only do 1 shot. But later thought of everyday travel like 200km, scared if anything happened stranded by the road side again. Also worrying, what if the water pump pulley snapped? If the pulley fly out nevermind can atleast get it replace, but what happen if the pulley just break away and doesn't fly out hitting other pulley and component? So, this afternoon die² still go back to magician and let him do. When arrived: ![]() Whilst dismantling alternator mounting, suddenly... ![]() Poor magician get an instant hot spring shower And found out, not only the water pump bearing is leaking, the connector hose is breaking apart too since it's plastic ![]() Here's a closer look ![]() Well, unable to get it repair by today, in the midst of sourcing a piece of METAL connecting pipe, rather than worrying when the new plastic pipe will break again |

QUOTE(cynix008 @ Jun 16 2014, 12:13 AM) Hi savvy owners, Your speedo meter ada rosak ka? Usually Shawie kacau jerking is only few thingsPast few days my savvy giving some jerks. When I start the car I don't have any problem at all. The problem happens sometimes only. Today it happened again while i was on highway.I was driving at 80km/h then the jerking happens so I drop my gear from 5th to 4th then to 3rd gear. I managed to stop the car at petrol station and restart the car this time I didn't turned on the air con and the car was back to normal no jerking at all. During the jerking the car pretends as if its running out of fuel. Any one faced similar issue? 1) Throttlebody too dirty 2) Speed sensor KO 3) TDC sensor bad connection(but this 1 wanto start car also cannot) |

QUOTE(NOX @ Jun 17 2014, 08:30 PM) Ada, kat bawah shitstick console. My plan is to replace the shiftlink bushes to PU, but the problem is do not have sample unless gantung the car at workshop. So, this time around I'm planning to get rubber bush first, get them replaced. Use the old bush to fabricate new PU bush and change again. As for the nyek nyek sound under the shift stick, itu plastic mounting I have no idea how to fix yet. Wait until I got time bukak semua to check and see how to improve it |
