Prime Minerals has acquired 100% shares in WGM1.

Now, WGM1 is the operator of PT Bintang Sinar Perkasa, the same company that's currently engaged in establishing a nickel mine in Sulawesi, the very same nickel mine that ufun claims to be having a JV with.

Here's the catch. The acquisition of WGM1 by Prime Minerals took place on the 8th May. Same day too that ufun claims to have done the JV for the nickel mine.

Now, how likely is it that a JV like that will be signed on the same day that the company is being fully acquired by another party.

Thailand Police will press more charges that carry harsher punishments against suspects in the Malaysia-based Ufun pyramid scheme because they say it is a transnational crime covering 13 countries in Africa, Asia, North America, Australia and Europe.

Assistant police chief Suwira Songmetta said on Friday that the scam had been plotted in Malaysia and spread to Australia, Britain, China, France, Germany, Guinea, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United States. Ufun executives had given lectures to lure victims in many countries, he added.
